The title of the movie that claimed the life of Nollywood actor, Jnr Pope is "The Other Side of Life".

It was produced by Nollywood actress and producer, Adanma Luke, who recently welcomed her first child few months ago.

Some are calling out the producer and calling for her arrest.

Only in Nigeria we have mortuary attendant playing the role of a medical doctor, and river god playing the role of emergency medical rescue team.

He who have ear, let him hear. Naija is not a place you do dangerous physical activities, not even a hubby. You will just die for nothing. There is no hospital anywhere in naija, and your fellow country man knows nothing about health and can't help.

It's pretty sad considering the fact that he made that video shortly before his tragic death . Nigha was exuberant .

What a loss caused by cutting costs.

You put people in cheap boat on a big River without safety crew riding close.
Later you will start claiming you spent Billions on recording the film. Nollywood need to learn a lot from Hollywood

His time don come

Useless blogger have started, no movie took his life

It's his own stupidity, coupled with his fellow Nigerian stupidity that took his life

1) he enter overcrowded boat without life jackets in a huge water body (self stupidity, he's not a kid)

2) after boat capsized no diver or emergency rescuer in sight (system stupidity)

3) when he was finally rescued no CPR or mouth to mouth breathing was done (another society stupidity)

4) he was taken to mortuary, thank goodness he is not a Muslim he will have been taking to burial site straight away

5) after mortuary rejection he was taken to a juju place rather than hospital or CPR (another dysfunctional religious brain set of society)

6) finally been dragged to the hospital it's too late and guy man finally succumbed, guess there is so many things 'Jesus cannot do'

7) his young family is about to be robbed of his body as they are claiming his body must be buried in an unknown riverside (just imagine this same set of people are alive when Mary Slessor want to stop killing of twins, they will have fought vehemently against it and claimed killing of twins is a tradition that must never ever end

Very unfortunate but life goes on, hopefully the boys he left behind will be strong enough to cope with out him...

Time is the greatest enemy of life.

They tell you In Life, Only the strong and Bold survives but that's at all not true. In the Jungle of Life, Only the Coward live the longest. In Cowardice I would have feared moving on that canoe and I would have lived yet longer

Same way Cowardice will let me beg you and let it go if our Argument is bout turning into a fight.

In Essence, Dont be offended when you're called a Coward. it means you've got what it takes to live longer.

I wish he had a safety jacket, this bad news would have not been so

The way we blame the producer for safety negligence, same way our actors should be blamed for not insisting on HSE before going on a movie

Too much recklessness in this country. I guess now, the actors guild will see the need to take health and safety hazards serious.

Why calling for her head? Was she in the boat or rocked it? Was she in charge of life guard and never issued it to the crew?
It's unfortunate that such a sad incident happened but throwing blames and indicting the producer is unfair. May the souls of the departed rest in peace. Amen.

are part of what killed him and other people in that boat.

Some Lifejacket are not even up to 10k, they can afford it but they chose to be careless.

It's not even about whether one knows how to swim or not, in an accident situation, na person wey dey conscious and person wey fit lift hand go fit swim, but in any case, lifejacket will still buy you time and keep you afloat.


IF I WERE GOVERNMENT, I'LL MAKE SURE THAT I ARREST ALL THE SURVIVORS WHEN THEY FULLY RECOVER AND JAIL THEM

ANY BOAT OPERATOR THAT'S ALSO CAUGHT WITHOUT PROVIDING LIFEJACKET WILL BE JAILED.

The death could have been avoided but Nigerians will always act like one.

Jnr pope with his level of exposure should have known that life has no duplicate who enters a fragile boat without a lifejacket,
This is devasting news to your family, your wife and your kids. I wished you had survived this I would have travelled down to 9ja to give you one hot slap.

Imagine two hospitals having no oxygen, It is a shame to our leaders, and us as the people of Nigeria too.

NB. What are the measures they will put in place to avoid this kind of unfortunate news ever repeating I doubt we will pretend and move ahead. One thing I have learnt here in the UK is safety first because no organization want to answer for anyone's negligence.
