Thank God you have changed your mind. Voc is followed according to the cc specifications. If by chance you pass this specifications, some low end cc like power mr will give the magic blue smoke.
While some other slightly highhend cc will just show error eg fangpusion, epiever till you correct it.

Yep.

Even though Powmr capped its 24v watt limit at 1440w, I think it does more than that. Someone here once shared a reading of 1602w. The max rating for 12v is 720w, but I used to do up 800w when I was on 12v. So, I think there is still some tolerance above that max threshold
powmr get how e take de but u will be stressing it out..

Please can someone give me pricing for the below setup including where I can purchase from plus installation fees. I feel the quotation I currently have is too exorbitant. Thanks.

5kva SRNE inverter with 5.12kwh LiFePo4 battery, MPPT solar charger and 10 panels x 550w

Have you gotten these already?
I can help you with sources, you can message +23481-32394478

I can't really remember if it's the old JBD or JK BMS that usually behave like this, but you can also try this.

Get a small battery of 8v (like the mic battery) and connect it between the 2 terminals of the BMS (the big wire that connects to the negative of the battery bank and the big negative output wire) for 2 to 5 seconds and see if it wakes the BMS.

Thanks for the hint.
I used my 9V multimeter battery to make that connection you suggested. One indicator light flash fast continuously after reaching about 5 seconds I stopped. I connected the BMS to my inverter and it started discharging for few seconds and then get disconnected. It keep doing this continuously. When I connected the mppt solar charge controller it did not deliver charge.
Then I smell like something is burning and then I disconnected it.
I may likely take it to repair workshop now.
If it didn't work, I may have to by a JK BMS.

Last time, we deliberated on Catl cells and the results were very impressive.
For three days now, I've been experimenting the bulk/absorption charging voltage pattern of Rept cells.....
I'm currently carrying out the capacity test on them........
I finished the test this morning. A total of 263ah was drawn and 13.6kwh equally consumed while the 20ah was left in the battery.
Next month, I will experiment Bathero cells and Hithium cells. I will also carry out the capacity test on them.

Try and changeover the app to another version.
If you don't have it, contact me on WhatsApp and let me forward it to you.
Mine was working when connected to the system but the bluethooth was not working. I could not view the individual cells. No Bluetooth connection at at all.

This is half test, You should discharge completely to 2.5V per cell.. you don't assume its 20AH left in the batteries.

Was the BMS connected to the cells when you connected the 9v battery to the terminals of the BMS?

If no, connect it to the cells as it should be.

The introduction of the 9v battery is to wake up the BMS in case it is sleeping.

So you can over panel your system but ensure your connection does not exceed the specified VOC and Rated Amp for the charge controller. I have a 3600w pannel connection on a 60A, 145v Charge controller and my system is a 24v. what i simply did was to respect the charge controller specification and i have been running it for a year now without issues. The only thing is that the charge controller will limit the wattage been generated to the CC specified cap wattage and waste the others inform of heat.
Being curious to know.. while using a 60amp CC with flooded batteries, does it send the whole 60amps into ur batteries while charging? If yes, wont that quickly damage the battery as a result of the high current?

Yeah. It was connected. The Bluetooth light is on, the other (probably operational light) is on but dimmer compared to when the BMS is working normally and it is the one blinked continuously after connecting the 9v battery.

If you have your Dollar MasterCard, ask them to prepare the payment through that.

I just paid for some solar goods yesterday with that it went through with just one click.
I paid 355 dollars and the charges were 10.69 dollars or thereabouts.

That's the difference of using a good mppt controller. When it senses that the battery is full, it reduces the current that goes to the battery.

So sending 60amps into a flooded battery before it reaches near full stage is good for the battery??

it will never send the whole 60a to the battery, the MPPT charge controller is built to be intelligent to only send what the battery needs for charging, while the others are used to power other loads connected to the inverter. If no load on the inverter it will only send what the battery requires to charge it.

I have a bluetti power station and wanna pair it with an external lifepo4 battery. The aim is to increase the Wh capacity.

1. Is it a good combination?

2. How will I charge the battery since I don't have an inverter?

3. Will I need a charge controller for the battery?
If your location is Lagos, I can look at it for you.
Contact details in sig.

The inverter isn't charging the batteries which simply means it doesn't supply enough power to the appliances, it's a 24V inverter.

What is your questions?

I no understand.

Is the terminal i broken and you want to replace it?

I called it cap, someone correctly identified it as battery terminal. Yes, my understanding is that it is broken. Because it is crusting around the edges and I attached a picture to the original post.

Someone suggested molding a new terminal. I am concerned that the problem could even affect the whole set up if I don’t fix it.

This contractor is missing out on a second project I need to complete for 4.5kVa and people will say their village people are after them.
