Good evening everyone. Please I would like to ask if Toyota Prius(Hybrid) between 2010 -2014 is a good car for personal use. I tend to see it used as taxis and not for personal use. Is it a good car to own? Ps: purchasing a used one. If yes, what should I look out for? I would appreciate your input as well @Oga lexus |

I find it difficult to comprehend why the US wants to spend $60 billion funding country’s far away from their coast. What’s in it for them ? 1 Like |

lavida001: A lot is in it for the USA. The stability (and control) of the middle east guarantees access to unlimited oil resources. Also the middle east is strategically located, it links Europe, Africa and Asia... Japan also relies a lot on middle eastern oil. The USA needs to have a big say in what goes on there or they may lose their status as a world power. My answer is not exhaustive though... |

Ayofemidara: How you bring someone, depends on who you intend to bring? Your partner? Then file a dependent visa if you meet the eligibility. One of your parents? Then apply for a visit visa (usually 6months). 10 Likes |

Teenuh: Like Lexus stated, as it's mostly used as taxi, it signifies reliability and comparatively cheap maintenance. However, it is not advisable to purchase used EV/hybrid except you can guarantee the battery's health. I can buy a 2010 petrol/diesel car now and use it for another 10 years if I choose to. But for an EV/hybrid especially the plug in hybrid, once the battery has passed it's life span, it can be very expensive to replace. 2 Likes |

dustydee: How do one know if they've got a 10yrs ban. I have a childhood friend whom i was lost contact with some years back. He heard i have relocated to the uk and he reached out to me via Facebook to ask how i did it. Explained everything to him and he told me his sad story. Back in 2020 before lockdown, he applied to the UK via an agent, while waiting for his visa application outcome, Nigeria happened to him. He was arrested in one of those crowd raiding by the Nigerian police and sent to kirikiri for 3yrs cos weed was found on him. While in prison, he doesn't know what's going on with his application, he sent his brother to the agent and that one told him he should not go to TLS for his passport that something happened and he wasn't granted the visa. He kept pushing but agent blocked them, nothing to show the outcome. Eventually he let go and looked forward to his release. He's out now, he was able to get a new passport but still doesn't know the status of his previous application ( which he found out the agent might have used wrong information to apply for him). Told him, he might have been banned for 10yrs due to the oluwole docs used. But advised he try other country cos he can't try the UK until after 10yrs. |
