Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has reportedly set up a committee tasked with recovering state assets allegedly acquired unlawfully by former Governor Nyesom Wike...

According to Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar (@jrnaib2) ), a member of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on X, several properties have been earmarked for immediate recovery.

These properties include:

1. The old NDDC building on Aba road

2. The mall on GRA junction (currently undergoing demolition)

3. West African Glass Industry

4. Rivers State University Hostel K Campus

5. Rivers State High Rise aka PHC Towers

6. Nigeria Engineering Works aka NEW

7. Civil Servants Lodge building at Old GRA

8. Shoprite complex

9. The Hypercity Land by NLNG roundabout (Eastern Bypass)

10. The entire Government properties from Tombia junction to Opobo Crescent, comprising over 20 buildings.

Same way Rochas built a private university in the name of the state and went ahead to corner it as his.

He stole many govt properties and all was duly recovered by Uzodinma.

That is the power of the incumbent governor and same is also happening in Abia state too.
