I have not pity for Philip Shuaibu

To be fair to Obaseki he entrusted more power to Philip before his ordeal, a deputy that was in charge of revenue, health and sports. Philip was the most powerful and popular deputy governor in Nigeria thanks to his Oga and also don't forget the rift between Wike and Obaseki was caused by Philip Obaseki sided with his deputy against Wike hence their quarrel. U don't pay a Boss who has invested much in you with disloyalty.

The impeachment of the former Edo deputy governor is only just a first step in scuttling his gubernatorial ambitions,by his political foes.

Nothing to write home about my beloved state . Obaseki's second tenure is nothing short of disappointments. Unemployment and crime rate is on the increase, no infrastructure, no development. All he does is talk and talk with no positive results.

And now,he wants to impose his candidate on us. He will be disgraced same way oshiomhole was disgraced.

No other governor in Nigeria ever gave his deputy the privileges Obaseki accorded Shaibu and that got into his head. More Brita attack to come.

You can't be fully immersed in making your state better, and still have time to fight with your deputy over succession.

Nigeria might need to come up with a Bill banning or restricting Governors and ex-governors from having direct or indirect influences on their successions.

They'll still build it with government money meant for important projects. What is this criminal wastage?
