What happened to correcting in love without having to publicly embarrass the lady?

Would Jesus have behaved in this way? I don't think so.... The man of God misjudged.... Anyway, he is a human being .. All he needs to do is to apologise to the woman for the misunderstanding.... Both sides would have learnt something

You're the stupid one here and that your Enenche is a bigger fool. Her English is terrible doesn't change the fact the she's a law graduate you fool!.

What happened to practicing actual christianity by being empathetic and considerate just as Jesus would do?
Y'all religious empty no-gooders that supports every vile attitude from your religious leaders out of bigotry are the ones Jesus was referring to when he said not everyone who calls his name will enter his kingdom.

The Testimony was just boring and unnecessary. I stayed close to a church one time and the Testimony I hear sometimes from that church makes me feel for those inside the church listening. They should listen to testimonies and decide which one is Altar worthy.
Very truth, she can give the testimony in the home church or department, I am a graduate is not longer a testimony in Nigeria, even PHD is not

She's a police officer.
yes. Most police officers I know actually go back to school to study law. Most times for promotion or just to add to their CVs. Some of them use it to prepare land documents when doing land business as a side hustle

Doc. Paul E. treated her based on what she said, to me NO apology. She be olodo
Use the internet you are using right now to spew falsehood and gibberish and learn something new today. There is a B.sc in Law
Re: Dunamis Church 'Fake Testimony': Anyim Vera Deserves An Apology by sexiestharam(f): 10:16am On Apr 15
I do not blame the pastor. How can you graduate and not know the type of degree you have? Does it make sense? I have a degree in Chemical Engineering. I know my degree is a Bachelors of Engineering(B.ENg), not Bachelors of Science(B.Sc). You spent over six years studying Law and you call your degree B.Sc. What kind of graduates are we churning out for goodness sake?

I hate this man for his arrogance. He is just too harsh. How can you embarrass someone publicly like that? She needs to leave that church except he apologizes to her. Even if what she said isn't true, he could have used a polite word or corrected her politely.

I did not study Law. I'm an Engineer and what we have is Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng). Immediately this saga started, i went to make a research on Law as a course and found they actually award bachelor of science degree.

Let me explain the foolishness in your comment so you can understand it, if you cook n you are asked what seasoning you used many of us will automatically say maggi though some use Know Royco Onga n others, this is also applicable with MacLean n Omo.

The lady here simply imply she graduated with degree in law from the University, I am sure if she was ask if she earned BSC or LLB she will make a judgement without blinking.

Originalsly:
I don't understand why the Pastor is wrong to say the testimony is a lie. When asked what degree ... she said "Bsc ..... Bsc in law". Why would he think it was a mistake when she repeated Bsc ?" Knowing your graduate degree is like knowing your name ... would stage fright make you mistakenly give another name instead of your own?... twice? Why wouldn't the pastor not think she is a liar and send her back to her seat? After all .... she came to the altar on her own.

If it is true she is a graduate ... then why the big blunder? As a Christian one has to think her motive for going to the altar was not to testify but to advertise .... advertise herself to men .... to attract a husband ... maybe a sugar daddy. After all .... she is a Police .... and single ... and we know the present economic situation. Maybe it was God's way of dealing with her for using His name to promote herself.

You are being bias, and if u don't repent u will rot in hell. I attemd Dunamis, my pastor was quick to make that conclusion. Even though they are suspicion of people sharing fake testimonies for reasons best known to them, Pastor should have had a one on one interaction with the lady before reaching his conclusion. Pastor Should please apologize to the lady.

I was very shock and ashamed of what played out in Church Yesterday.

Don't be a gullible follower, follow with sense!. It is only God that is blameless, and super Alpha... No body is above correction.
AAAA67:
A graduate in law should know what her degree is after spending five years in the University.
Has nothing to do with the institution - NOUN , which some people have their reservations about.
She brought the embarrassment upon herself.
I don't blame Pastor ENECHE on this.
She should apologize for giving wrong testimony and should correct herself.

Being a graduate in Law and knowing how to speak Engish are two completely sepate issues. Her testimony was that she graduated with a degree in Law. Was is True or False?? Answer is True. Her testimony was not about her ability to speak English. Go to South America and the likes and you'll find competent lawyers who do not even understand English except their local language. English is a language for communicating and has nothing to do with knowledge. There are many like it globaly. You can't undersand all of them.
She owes them no apology. The church as a whole owe her one. If it were me, I'd find another place to worship.

I think the mistake happened when she said she had a BSc instead of an LLB.

Still the same tho..

In other words, the holy spirit didn't reveal to the pastor it was an honest mistake.

Check.

He probably judged her appearance as one who couldn't be an LLB holder.

The real pastors are around sha, and you can tell these ones are real, cos they tell the truth, they no even get crowd, they are not businessmen, and most importantly they are not haughty.

Your 13 year old daughter is not the standard. I felt.even if she was living which is not the case here, she should have been corrected in love. The public embarrassment was too much. Once more, your 13 year old could flop where a 6year old succeeded.

She should change her church. If she was a rich member, the pastor wouldn't dare embarrass her like that. He sized her up and concluded she is a nobody. That pastor is so arrogant and class conscious.

I think it's stage fright from the testifier. The Pastor daughter is also a lawyer, this must have made him to scrutinize the testimony.

Telling the junior Pastor to interview her more in private would have been better instead of openly calling her a lier.

That doesn't warrant her stopping the Church though. She is there to serve God not man.

I am sure the Church will apologize to her through her local assembly.

honestly sometimes this padtors behave like not God but they themselves owns their church members.

If you do that shit to me, I will work hard to find your scandals and bring it to the public, after all they are full of scandals and you won't have to work hard to get one....what rubbish.?....they lie against the word of God every now and then to draw clients (members) to donate money to them without been challenged yet look at how he embarrassed the lady
Re: Dunamis Church 'Fake Testimony': Anyim Vera Deserves An Apology by sexiestharam(f): 10:27am On Apr 15
Mummyfour:
Honestly, I watched that testimony time and I really pitied that lady. That was a global embarrassment because a lot of people are usually tuned to dunamis programs from every part of the world whether they are members or not.
Like I told my daughter whom I watched it with, pastor Enenche didn't do well at all. Even if he needed to prove a point, he should have allowed her, then later on come on the altar at the end of testimony time and just make a statement that people should not lie on the altar and all that without making reference to her.
That blunder he committed is enough to make her depressed or even suicidal. It takes a lot of guts to give a testimony in a massive congregation like that. And secondly, even though I am not holding brief for her spoken English, but most times, stage fright can turn one's grammar upside down, no one is perfect.
This is the reason most people don't like giving testimonies, because of embarrassment and at times again members are practically cajoled to give testimonies so as to appreciate what God has done and so that others could strengthen their faith through it.
But with this embarrassment, a lot of people will refrain from giving testimonies.

How can you forget your type of degree when you graduated just days before? People that graduated 50 years ago still know their types of degree!
I can imagine the embarrassment.
Not to talk of how her family members, friends and colleagues will be mocking her.
Honestly pastor Enenche didn't do well, but he is a human being.
This graduation picture I have seen posted on social media just proved she actually went to the school and graduated. But like most people have said, she should improve herself because if she speaks that type of English in front of a judge, she will be thrown out of the court.
But again at a point I heard her taking corrections and she admitted it was LLB when pastor Enenche was trying to correct her.
She may have actually forgotten.
Nobody is perfect.
Though Like I said she should improve on herself

And again, she may have just gone to that school to become a graduate to prove a point that she has a certificate, not necessarily because she wants to practice with it
