Both actually. Reading through this thread and the intending GTs that indicated a change of status said they did theirs virtually. From page 17 or so. I haven’t seen anyone here that said physically. It’s possible it may not be the case though. I believe StDaniel indicated virtual. Another person did as well

I think Enny did it physically and got a status change.

Bro this is unrelated and probably a silly question to ask but please when you did the aptitude test like how many questions were you able to get their answers in the mathematics section

Also how was the test overall
Did you know you killed it
Or it didn’t go so well and you were surprised that they called you for the next stage

This question also applies to other guys that had their application status changed from under review to application in progress

And the purpose of this question is so people who haven’t gotten positive feedback so far can know where to put their mind and also know how to jazz up for the should in case we want to do a similar aptitude test for Exxon Mobil in the nearest future

No such thing as a dumb question: Summarily, I'd say I did well on my Abstract test section, I could almost say 100% because I had about 7mins left to go over them again and again. On Numerical, honestly, I did not finish due to time constraint cos I wanted to be accurate. So that at least if I no fit finish all, the ones I am able to answer should be correct (I would score myself there 65-70% cos the ones I answered I was certain they were spot on).
I finished verbal reasoning, had few mins left to look some up again, but you know you can't be sure with this verbal reasoning thing at times. So, I would just leave that one open.

For the EH that interviewed today, how was it?
Re: Exxonmobil Graduate Engineer Trainee by ennyj01(m): 8:54pm On Apr 15
Tomorrow will make it 1 month after the test.
Re: Exxonmobil Graduate Engineer Trainee by indusfidus: 9:30pm On Apr 15
I can relate to this guy that explained how the test went.

for me the dragnet questions where relatable but I only had an issue where my light source got tampered with for which I had to step out to check because my home internet is tied to being on a direct power source.

I know how I prepared for this test knowing this was a good graduate opportunity but I think dragnet made their rules already on not leaving your testing space once you start.

We move regardless and might come in as experienced hire in subsequent roles within the industry.

Success to all those that made the cut and take this opportunity seriously because it's a life changing opportunity with lots of money accrued to it.

I have found this selfish attitude in most of the oil and gas job threads. The moment people get to the interview stage, they never come back or respond to questions on how the interview went, let alone talk about offer letters. They benefit from discussions and updates on past threads and recent ones prior to their advancement and decide to keep mute afterwards. This is very bad and selfish. Platforms like this are meant to help guide. Check all the oil and gas job threads you rarely or never see anything about anything on/beyond interview stage.

I mean take a look at 2017 kPMG graduate trainee job thread amongst others - a lot of selfless people with upadates from job test to offer letter. A lot of people even gave timelines for all stages of their recruitment process up to job offer and you can testify to how many people it helped and how most keep coming back to share testimony of success stories. That is what is expected - Not selfishness of hoarding info like people here would stop you from getting that dream job. This is a faceless platform - nobody knows/care about who you are. Nobody is stopping you from getting the job. Just be selfless and let's keep this platform as helpful as it can be.

Hello sir,

I get the message you are trying to pass across but I want you to know you are not doing it the right way. You call people selfish for not sharing how their experience went at the interview, but I want you to know nobody owes you anything.

This is an Oil and Gas job for God's sake. Getting into this organisation is enough to establish (when Esther see money Establish 🙂) someone for life, so don't be too harsh on people when they decide to hoard information for their own best interest.

You can't expect someone who went to the interview blindly with no support and guidance to come out and start spewing all the things they were asked in the interview. Even if you want to form ignorant, you can attest to the fact that it will give people who are yet to take their interview a clear advantage.

You referenced KPMG GT but did not mention the fact that consulting firms hire in large numbers (nothing less than 50 each recruitment) compared to an Oil and Gas that sometimes doesn't take more than 1/2 per position and when it comes to GTs, the numbers they hire is way lower compared to the KPMG you made mention of.

I expected you to wait till the recruitment process is over before you start asking people to share their experience, by then you will see a lot that will be willing to divulge as much as possible to help the future set because they have nothing to lose then.

Please don't try and guilt trip anyone into disclosing how their interview went. It is not right.

Also, I see that only one Instrumentation, Electrical and Controls EH has testified to application being changed from "review" to "in progress".
