I think it is not yet time to celebrate because we still need to experience more reduction and that is when we can start celebrating. Things has gone beyond normal on this sector than the present reduction we are having now. There is need for more to be done for Nigerians to ease our burdens. Kudos to Dangote. 1 Like |

LegendHero: Lol. You have time for that bitter and hateful IPOB he/she thing. The only thing those sort deserve is derision for being so anti-nation and insultive against leaders trying to improve Nigeria. Always boring us with GEJ this, Yar Adua that and OBJ yesterday nonsense in a Nigeria that has become vastly and negatively more different, especially during the years of Buhari, instead of trying to join hands with the current managers in change of our nation to see us gain a better Country. @ topic. Good development because diesel is the choice fuel for manufacturers and naturally their lower cost of production should impact positively on Nigeria's inflation rate. A step in the right direct while other economic initiatives of the Government plays their part towards the easing of inflationary pressure. Personally, I think man-made impediments and sabotage intended to keep the Nigerian economy down should not be underestimated or discounted in our current state of affairs. Ultimately though, they will tire as they cannot sustain the fight against the FG acting as a parallel negative economy. We know the culprits but suffice to say Asiwaju is not OBJ, a gradualist, GEJ, a compromised and impotent leader,or Buhari a partisan former president who was more committed to what was best for the wider group of Fulanis across West Africa than Nigerians. 4 Likes |

samujaol: It's not even about celebrating anything. When you take time to familiarise yourself with the problems, humongous in the case of Nigeria, you'll know it's going to be a long, tedious and dogged fight to get the Nigerian economy moderately sane again. After that the naturally next and very exciting phase, that will greatly benefit productive and progressive Nigerian individuals, should be the uncompromising pursuit of holistic and fundamental reforms ( such as State/regional policing, increased regional autonomy etal) to begin shaping a Nation possessing inherent productivity within the economic system of Nigeria itself, rather than needing external or artificial stimulus. There is a plan in place. Following it meticulously will see Nigeria vastly and positively very different in even the next two years. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Lizzysamuel: Keep living in the past and fellating GEJ and co. Does not hide the fact you're same as the wicked and sadistic mother in the clip below who wants the baby cut in half so everyone can be miserable. By the way, the clip is also a powerful analogy of what you IPOB folks are about. Intelligent Nigerians know this about you lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_az3eNb0fI?si=aJRanQTKfGUQyyVY 4 Likes |

Onyedikachi231: To keep it less than one thousand back then, we were spending billions of dollars in subdisising the naira. If ye want low diesel prices, we should have let gej remove subsides on petrol totally in 2012 so that at the end, we would have had more refineries and more diesel on the market,.crashing prices 1 Like |

KingKO22:and 1000 is a better Nigeria right? If it's the Airpeace boss, he would have reduced it way down to 600. A man that has human sympathy not Dangote. Dangote that ran his cement plant for years.. what happened to cement prices. Onyema factor has really opened the eyes of Nigerians. And it's even the reason Dangote is reducing that price. 3 Likes |

nairalanda1: So if they are still subsidising petrol, why do you think it is not same route they are taking now? The Billions that they stopped paying for it, was it not the one akpabio and co under the supervision of the APC criminal gangs lead by tinubu is siphoning back to their pockets, Why will akpabio have a constituency allocation of 2 billion naira, does it mean the tinubu gangs weren't settled for that or you think it is not same subsidy money you people said you removed. Stop defending APC, it will make you look very stupid. |
