Tim37:You can request for an emergency appointment 60 days prior to your programme start date. You need your SEVIS fee payment receipt and i20 to request for emergency appointment. 1 Like |

Does non payment of SEVIS fee affect the availability of interview dates at the United States Embassy in Nigeria? |

mcvities: No. It doesn't affect you. You can pay the SEVIS fee weeks or days to your interview day. 1 Like |

Please, someone should kindly help me out with this. A friend of mine staying in UK, Luton precisely is finding it difficult helping me pay the SEVIS from there. He has approached several Western Union Money Transfer agents with the coupon I sent to him which he printed and they are telling him that they know nothing about it. I sent him OyoTunjiUSA reply from here when I made the enquiry on whether the SEVIS fee can be paid from someone in UK. Is there any other way he can go about this? Someone should kindly help with what can work. |

Hello. My I-20 says my program will last 9 months. Do I put 9 months or 1 year in the section of the DS-160 form that asks for how long I'll be staying in the U.S.? |

Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by Mjosh1000(m): 10:43pm On Apr 18 |
Chemist4life: Its straight forward, submit your financial document and get your I-20 form from your school. Use the information on your I-20 form to fill your Ds-160 form, get your DS 160 confirmation number and pay your Visa fee. After payment apply to schedule and interview in either lagos or Abuja. Choose your interview date. Pay your sevis fee (Note you can't pay your sevis fee in nigeria) Gather your documents and prepare for your interview. Go to your interview at your choosing consulate, get approved and bye bye to Naija. Wish you the best 👌 3 Likes |
