Itsrm: Which lesson Fubara wan learn again ? Shebi it has been agreed that he will use 4 years at least . If anybody will suffer I think it's the Rivers People that will suffer cos for the 4 years of Fubara government he will be at loggerheads with Wike and it will be difficult for him to really focus on governance and achieve much as a governor |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 6:54am On Apr 19 |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:08am On Apr 19 |
Itsrm: There's no lesson there whether it is at most or at least. 4 years is what the constitution guarantees for any governor except he gets impeached. As it stands it doesn't look like he will get impeached. That being said, I think the residents should be concerned about how the feud between the governor and his erstwhile godfather will not affect good governance in the state; na only politicians supposed dey get excited about their fight. |

BlueRayDick: Odili 8 years, Amaechi, 8 years. Wike 8 years. A man who is guaranteed to spend 8 years spends only 4, no lesson. If he gets impeached and spends 2 years instead of 4, lesson. That's your argument? Lol Whether he decides to work or hides under the excuse of a fight to not work is none of my business. I'm not employed by the state government and don't need any handout from him. The basic things I need from the government was already provided by the last administration. The fight excites me as much as it excites a politician. Lessons will be learnt. |

Regex: He should put his money where his mouth is. Going to a first world country as an economic migrant, enjoying all the benefits of said country, improving your own life, then criticizing same county is hypocrisy. At least most of the putin stans have lived in the Nigerian shithole all thier lives and have no idea what a functioning society looks like and can thus easiky celebrate corrupt dictators and strongmen and police states because they have known nothing else all their lives https://www.google.com/search?q=Canadian+family+russia&oq=Canadian+family+russia&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQABiABDIHCAIQABiABDIHCAMQABiABDINCAQQABiGAxiABBiKBTINCAUQABiGAxiABBiKBTINCAYQABiGAxiABBiKBTINCAcQABiGAxiABBiKBTINCAgQABiGAxiABBiKBdIBCTExMDY3ajBqN6gCFLACAQ&client=ms-android-samsung-ss&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8 The above is a story of a Canadian family who went too far on the kool-aid and emigrated to Russia. If you really believe there is a problem with the west leave their opportunities, their freedom and reside in a country whose values you celebrate. Anything else is just intellectual hypocrisy. In a country like Saudi Arabia everything you say on social media is monitored and can get you in jail. If you are a dissident outside of Saudi Arabia no problem, they will put your family members in jail. Putin is essentially an African dictator for life who kills all who speak against him. There is no freedom of religion in China (where ughuir Muslims are being reeducated, it is a one party system and if you are a billionaire who wants to start running his mouth like Elon musk - you get jack maed) You want to knock and criticise the west, do it from the poverty and struggle and strife of a third world country. Then at least you have credibility. Criticising the west as an immigrant is duplicity. 10 Likes 1 Share |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: Stop capping and pretending to be ignorant. The west pays the highest wages, provides the best opportunities and gives the highest freedoms. You as a Nigerian should know that Language barrier does not stop Nigerians from emigrating to Dubai, to kazakztan, to China to Malaysia, to Pakistan to hustle. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/08/india-says-its-citizens-were-duped-to-serve-in-the-russian-army-now-it-wants-them-back.html You should look for a job in Russia, maybe like the unlucky Indians you will also find your self involuntarily at the 9 Likes 1 Share |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:34am On Apr 19 |
Itsrm: He is not the first governor to use 4 years and he won't be the last(If he eventually use 4 years) . I noticed how u used the word GUARNTEED loosely , but we all know nothing is guaranteed. Well, I don't reside in the state, and I don't know if Wike has provided enough amenities for the citizenry to last a lifetime , but certainly it is the common man that will suffer if Fubara fails or get distracted for the whole 4 years. Fubara will get all his salaries, he will steal as much as he can and may even make up with Wike in the future. But u see the residents? Nothing for them. Just look at the case of Ambode in Lagos for example. When Ambode had fallout with his APC people and Tinubu, he was bundled out after 4 years with some ongoing projects abandoned. My former boss who had property in Ikorodu area of Lagos decried how a road leading to his property was abandoned following Ambode's exit. The people suffered shege especially when it rained. I don't know if it has been completed now by Sanwoolu but as 2022 when we last spoke about it the road was in a terrible mess. Today Ambode has mend fences with Tinubu, Sanwoolu and APC as a party. He jollies with them, but the people of the state suffered while the politicians were bickering amongst themselves. That's why I say the whole thing no supposed excite common citizens that are not politicians. |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 7:52am On Apr 19 |
BlueRayDick: Fair enough. I'll just add that, the fact a man spends 8 years does not mean his projects won't be abandoned by the next administration even if they are from the same party. While it makes it less likely, there are still no guarantees. |
