Those that haven't been to Onitsha see urbanization only limited to few kilometres Google will show you on Onitsha, Google can't show you the large Onitsha metro which covers many towns and local government areas, almost all the neighbouring town which is forming great Onitsha metropolis they're bigger than Onitsha in land mass just like Obosi, Nkpor, Ogidi, Nkwelle, Ogbaru, Nsugbe, Oba, Ogbunike Umunya etc there are towns in different LGAs that made up Onitsha metro

I can't argue about land mass because there's no official survey measurement to back the claim.

But hope you know that both cities are not mate in terms of revenue.

Main market, Head bridge, Iweka and some other markets are in Onitsha. Onitsha have river access (River Niger)

All those population in Obosi (Awada) where are majority of them (over 70℅ ) heading every morning for business?

Remove Onitsha, and there will be no Obosi city. Not even a complete city yet

Obosi youths have huge tendency for violence. Nevertheless, the town is cool and you just have to be ready to combat erosion


ROI is very big due to the town being in between Onitsha and Nnewi. And with the new bridge, Asaba is like thirty minutes away

Keep whining yourself. Obosi youths should come and collect revenue in Fegge na. Nkwelle cant drag Three-Three with Onitsha. All these place you called, Onitsha men are the ones selling land there. All the land in Three-Three are owned by Onitsha Villages/Family.

If you want to buy land in three-three, pay the money to Nkwelle people and know whether you will enter the land. If you have hate for onitsha, just keep it to yourself and dont mix it with facts

Some of these markets were moved out from Onitsha e.g electical market because of too much crowd. Without Onitsha, ask yourself whether anybody knows Obosi. Without Onitsha how will major markets be opened in Obosi?
