The Olympic Games
This is weird! Did the French ever in fact worship the Greek gods? This is annoyingly fake abeg! I would have preferred it if the French dug deep into their ancestry to local and showcase their local gods in this. The games are about inclusion and this ain't my idea of inclusion undecided

Imagine if China or Tokyo had done something like this... I would have ๐Ÿ˜จ This is definitely a miss abeg! undecided

Even in the south propaganda and all sorts of negative info will be spread. That is when, the Olympics that wasn't seen as a demonic event when Nigeria beat Brazil in Atlanta 96 will now be criticized by religious leaders with fabricated brainwashing information about the origin of Olympics culled from their depressed mindset.

You cant expect the whites to respect you when you naturally feel inferior to them or make excuses for their actions.

That's the zombie mentality, not just about religion, but general perceptions. Just like you said you will believe the white God, lol, nothing like black or white God.

Africa wake up. There is nothing wrong with your traditional religions.

If you are somewhere in Yoruba land, I dare you to move in the night when the Oba dies.

The white folks enslaved your ancestors, are you praising them for enslaving your ancestors grin

It's poor people that want to travel and escape poverty not everyone.
Slave mentality is deep.

1. There is no denying that there are and there have been some barbaric customs here and there. Not just in Yoruba Land. Look at what is done to little children in Akwa Ibom with the idea that they are witches.

2. But customs are not necessarily religion.

3. Islam, Christianity & Judaism all have, and have practiced barbaric customs.

4. When I say there is nothing wrong with African Traditional Religion, I simply mean that it needs not be demonized as against Western Religion. Furthermore, it can and should also be retained, encouraged in many respects where it is positive and where it serves to accentuate the history and culture of the people.

I do not mean that there is nothing negative whatsoever with it really. All religions have negatives and positives.

As for me, I am entirely irreligious.

What is kneeling down before a Statue of a Cross or kissing a black stone in the Kaabah?

Unless you can explain the difference between the Hammer of Thor and Ose Sango, and the fact that the two entities are gods of thunder but from different people, I'll take it that you have absolutely no knowledge of either of them.

Idolatry is still idolatry no matter who practices it. It makes you spiritually lost and far from your real creator.
