fergie001: That's exactly what someone who is enjoying billions of naira every year from federal allocation would say. Putting your pocket first before the security of a nation. Disgraceful! 2 Likes |

He didn't even highlight the reasons Nigeria wasn't ready for it. Useless and illiterate people. All they know is collect ęgunję from governors and pocket it. Whenever the men of the underworld strike, they'd be saying their vehicles don't have fuel to reach the location 2 Likes |

State police will create more avenue for state governor to misbehave, the same way they mess up state electorial commission, tho it will create more employment opportunity but it won't curb the challenges we are facing, my opinion. 1 Like |

Hezzyluv: These politicians called police men aren't serious, go to interior parts of states you will never see a police man anywhere around but that will be sorted out by state police but they will never agree you know why? Funding for federal police which he controls will plummet and attention will go to the state police. |

State police has come to stay, the NPF will loose their relevance soon, and will be less effective just like how Boys scout has become the things of the past in the present day Nigeria . |

I think our judiciary is robust enough to entertain state police...this is his opinion, but the truth is, state police is necessary, it's a function of necessity. Lives are being lost. |

IG IS 1000% CORRECT. YOU NEED A SOCIETY WITH SANE CITIZENS,WHO ARE WELL FED AND CIVILIZED TO DO STATE POLICE. NAIJA PPL ARE NOT CIVILIZED,COMMON PPL JOIN SOLDIER OR POLICE WORK, HE GO DEY THREATEN CIVILIANS INSTEAD OF PROTRECTING THEM AND ENFORCING THE LAW. |

With the action of the Kogi State governor it's an understandable position to take. I can imagine a case where elected governors shield criminal elements or intimidate opposition with the state police |
