Ok, explain how it is being used in imperative and functional programming.
Do your research. Donald Knuth, the inventor of the concept, is a renowned computer scientist.

That's enough to show the application of the concept in that field. Surreal numbers are a concept under number theory, which is essential in the development of programming languages and computing generally.

SE is the safest zone grin
The safest can only be determined by percentage; it is determined by the population to victim number ratio.

You just don't look at victim number and conclude.

The image below is from the Google Books description of the author, Donald Knuth.

I'm not an expert in functional programming. However, a brief glance at some concepts in Mathematics is enough for me to know how they can be applied in computer programming.

So, if you know the history of the development of programming languages, such as Julia, Wolfram Language, and the likes, you'd quickly understand the key role that number theory and many other concepts in Mathematics play in the development of algorithms (functions) in a programming language.

Even by population, Anambra will top state like Zamfara in population yet Zamfara state is among the top five with the highest number of killings.

The devil is in the detail. Those who studied metallurgy in-toto know that the ring is not soldered to the finger, and can come off.

There is something off about this Charterhouse imho

All pictures of the school look like sterile renders.

I have to wonder if the school is actually standing or if it is still an ongoing concept.

Their director of communications already mentioned it in the punch story I posted the other day that it is still under construction.

Those pictures are more like 3D rendering of what it will look like upon completion .

You are just young that's all.

Nothing you done read wey I never read.

Communist books filled my library as a young man, I have them still. I have visited Cuba twice and plan to visit again either this year or next.

When you see those people pining for freedoms we enjoy and their holoshos selling themselves for $5, you go appreciate democratic freedoms.

The Iranians una dey back, I've met dozens and all are freedom loving, extremely secular and enjoy shayo and drugs and got nothing to do with Ayatollah

Na Una wey dey swallow propaganda of their leaders, the people of those countries are the repressed and no send their leaders message

I no go respond to unknown monikers here again cos I want this thread to maintain its intended purpose, I say make I clear you

Reading this post again reminds me of youthful years and how communism/socialism is the thing that makes youth excited until they see the reality

There was one guy in Ife back then, Most people who attended Ife in the last 20yrs will know or hear about Akinola Saburi. He was a staunch Socialist all those guys hat will be reciting everything about Leon Trotsky and Lenin daily.

His entire youth was to fight western imperialism and capitalism. To him America/capitalism was the enemy, Russia/communism is the friend and ideal life

He contested for SUG leadership a few times, he was locked in prison for several months, he spent like 12yrs in school

https://www.nairaland.com/1180532/saburi-graduates-after-12-years

Today Saburi is in the US military, Sometime back when he shared his pictures in US military uniforms with the US flag someone commented that "Saburi so you can join the imperialist army? The same thing you spent your youth fighting against, as an adult you not only joined you even offered to shed blood for it"

Its called growing up, when you grow up and see the real life you will understand why people older than you saw communism, saw capitalism and fled to one direction. Why half of people in China, Venezuela, North Korea, Cuba, Russia who have experienced this life first hand given the opportunity will flee towards freedom

A man who fought against Western ideas in his youth , has pledged allegiance to the US flag

Not think. It will end in series 1. It was always meant to be one season. The only way to prolong it is if they do a prequel which will not be based on the book.
Maybe a back story on Toranaga, Ishido, the Taiko, Mariko’s father, and the warlord he betrayed.
