-Business registration documents for myself and wife
- 2 Hotel reservations

But why your application com tey like dis naw. You get 5 years usa valid visa. Could it be that your wifey and kids didn't hold US visa as you did?

Try resend the otp cos it doesn't come on time. By the time it finally arrives, it would have expired. Check your mail and keep refreshing it after re-sending cos vfs otp may never come to your phone. Cheers!

They all hold US valid visas. I guess maybe because we were refused in 2020, that could be the only reason I can think of that caused the long processing time.

Thank you. I have done that several times without luck. Even the site had to temporarily suspend my alc for a few mins. VFS call helpline never goes through.

Please am new here and I recently applied for a Canada conference visa last week through an agent, and the conference was scheduled for June 2024. However, due to the current processing time, there is a possibility that the visa may still be issued even if the conference date has passed?? the agent told me it no problem the visa will be issued as the embassy do not really care about the conference date and you cannot be refused visa based on conference date expire.

I don’t know if your agent is saying the truth or not, but some of those applicants who did biometrics in August 2023 are still waiting for decisions too.

I know someone outside Nairaland forum who did biometric in early August 2023. She received a decision notice about a week ago.

Apart from the email, you will need the following information from your application.

- The UCI number
- The Application number
- Give names (first and middle)
- Last name
- Date of birth
- Country of birth

Enter the information, then click next.

If everything looks ok, a code will be sent to your email. You need that code to create an account.

If you still have the biometrics instruction letter that you took to your biometrics appointment, then you’re lucky because your name, UCI number, and application number appear on the first page of the instruction letter.

Hello, please your opinion is needed on this. As a couple going for a vacation, they've been invited by a friend who resides in Canada. The friend will be sponsoring the accommodation and meals for the entire 30 days.

What would be a reasonable budget for the husband to allocate for spending in Canada? Additionally, there's a section asking about other sponsors for the vacation (who else will sponsor). Should he include the friend's name since he will be covering accommodation and meals? I appreciate your advice on this.

Unfortunately, the agent's information is incorrect. You should have checked the visa processing times before applying. attach his the GCMS notes of any applicant who was refused because the conference had already passed. The process for obtaining a Canadian visa has changed since early last year when the rules were more relaxed. Now, you must prepare a thorough application, taking into account the processing time for attending a conference, which is currently about six months. I hope you are not a welder applying to attend a medical conference, as this could be a reason for refusal, and unfortunately, some agents can be quite unprofessional.

It an illustration as It's important to choose a conference that aligns with your job aspect and offers benefits to your professional life. Simply selecting any conference for visa purposes isn't advisable, as visa applications are now subject to thorough checks and requirements

Bro good morning I have not receive any response since last year August I went for biometrics till now, it's my own email i put but i don't have access to the portal because it my agent dat applied for me, after receiving tracking number from vfs till now they have not email me again and if I ask my agent wether decision is he will say no decision make yet that it's on process, but it have take much time since august last year, does it mean it's it taking much time this days?
