While condemning the actions of the Chinese supermarket if they actually prevented Nigerians from accessing the supermarket to shop, we must condemn evil in its entirety.

Many voters who looked like they came from a particular popular part of Nigeria were brazenly prevented from casting their votes in a presidential election in Nigeria here. Violence was freely meted out to the ones who dared to come forward to vote, Heads were broken, beatings were freely administered, the news and pictures of that abound in this very forum. Right under the very noses of security agencies, right inside Nigeria here. Right under the noses of those opening their mouths waaaa to shout injustice now.

Nobody was arrested, nobody is in jail for that.

Then what is our moral justification to condemn a simple act of refusal of entry in a private business? Which is worse?

Thank you. Nigerians are hypocrites. They hate a section of the population with all their power

One thing I know

Nigerians discriminate against themselves both Home and Abroad.

Jealousy, Envy, Prejudice, Nepotism. None of these haven't I can experienced from Nigerians.
Na this kind thing I dey talk about.
I don't like the behaviour of black people even outside Nigeria.. I'm not a fan of how on a general scale back people present themselves and their communities.

BUT I WILL NEVER BACK ANOTHER RACE OVER BLACKS. These racist that call your kind monkeys and banana are the ones I'll see sense in? From the moment you drop at their country they treat you like a convicted criminal without respect of any kind. They can lock you up for no reason and laugh at your race and call your people all names and you want me to reason their mata? I ll never do that. I will never render my voice to any racist race that hate black people for no reaon. If they start respecting black people in their pathetic countries , I'll start respecting them in my country. Simple!

This is exactly what happened in the whole of South East. The Presidential election was a complete sham.

Obi won in Lagos. Atiku won in Osun.

THE WORST ELECTORAL MALPRACTICE IN THE HISTORY OF NIGERIA HAPPENED IN THE WHOLE OF THE SOUTH EAST DURING THE LAST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. Your description is sharp and very, very clear.

In the South East, during the election, anybody that doesn't vote Peter Obi is considered to be and OUTCAST, O'S'U and maltreated. That fear, made some to remain at home and not come out to vote their preferred candidate or party.

During the gubernatorial election which Obi wasn't on the Ballot, it all turned out to be a different story.

Imagine you finding the Chinese discrimination of Nigerians repulsive when it is so impended in the cultural practice of the South Easterner to discriminate within his own very tribe. The outcast system called O'S'U. .grin

This one is a slave to hausa fulani. Coward to the core.

Former Education Minister, Babatunde Fafunwa wrote in his autobiography of how he went to Ikoyi, (Lagos)
in the evening after 6:00pm, back in the 50's and the Oyibo people called police for him, tied him to NEPA pole
and FLOGGED THE living hell out of his back...

I bloody knew it, we're always stating with our chest out how we were only colonized but though there may have been no official apartheid or segregation laws in this country it most definitely was unofficially practised. There must be thousands of untold incidents like this of Nigeria between the abolishment of the Atlantic Slave Trade and our so-called independence.

Meanwhile I have read from many of you who do not support Tinubu but have been very jubilant for his courage in displacing the dominance of the Hausa Fulanis in the government. Example is the Minister of the FCT, the chairman of EFCC and many more.

You better go and cure you O'S'U disease.

Husband took wife to court on complaints that she denied him access to toto. Wife's pastor showed up in court to speak on her behalf.

Pastor: My lord, the human body is a temple of God. He created it. When it pleases God, He will take it back. He grants access to it. When it pleases God, He denies access to it. The Husband has not approached God for access to this toto. grin grin

This should be a clarion call for us as a people to examine our conscience whether those debilitating issues such as tribalism, ethnicity, religion, state of origin, etc aren't inimical to our drive for national unity.

We more often than not inflict pains on ourselves because of primordial sentiments and selfish considerations in our dealings with people we consider as "strangers" in a country which supposedly belongs to all of us.

Let's first remove the log in our eyes so that we would be able to see clearly for us to remove the specks from the eyes of those who are merely following in our footsteps.

If the store is located within their premises or estate and it is exclusive for their use ie resident use, what then is the problem?
Can you drive to eg the gate of IITA ibadan and tell them you want to their supermarket?

Oga, that supermarket is within their chamber of commerce or so, a Chinese premises where they have some busineses and residence. There is no outside advertising. To get to the store you have to pass their gate of which if you have no business or even resident there you may not have access to the place. I see nothing wrong in that.
I doubt you can drive to babcock University gate and say you want to go to their supermarket without being a staff, student on someone having cause to visit either of the earlier stated. Can you drive to IITA ibadan, then at the gate tell them you want to go to their supermarket, their pool side bar and lounge to shop or relax? You will never be let past the security gate! I remember those days as students in the early 90s, IITA had the best burgers and chips etc, all cheap and subsidized. We will go there, then get a resident to call the security gate to allow us enter as if we are guest paying a visit, all for the purpose of gaining access to their poolside lounge to eat burger or chicken and chips.

Discrimination is not alien to Nigerians.
Discrimination happens amongst Nigerians themselves and it must be condemned in totality be it from foreigners or locals inclusive.

It even happens in the corporate world, I remember in the early 2010s when I wanted to open an account with Zenith Bank I was told to deposit #50,000 before I could open a savings account with the bank
I had to resort to opening an account with UBA with #5000 then and today I've operated several bank accounts and vowed to never step foot into Zenith Bank ever since.
We must condemn every form of discrimination be it at home, workplace or public places.

We know very well that Nigerians discriminate against one another on the basis of tribe, religion, etc.

It doesn't have to be every single Nigerian doing it but you will be playing the ostrich if you don't admit that we have a big problem on our hands with tribalism and religious bigotry.

Unfortunately this supermarket will be reopened after a few correspondence between the Chinese high commission and the Nigerian ministry of foreign affairs.... But those who won't be spared are that gate man that was captured on video and the members of staff that FCPCC interviewed...... They have surely lost their jobs and nobody will be there to protect them...... Unfortunately...
