Yesterday, the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ede welcomed the esteemed presence of Osun State's First Lady, Chief Mrs. Titilola Adeleke. Warmly received by State Coordinator Mr. Ndoma Obim Agbor and his team, she inspected the quarter guard before delivering a motivational lecture at the start of the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) program.

Her Excellency praised the NYSC Scheme for empowering youth with skills for financial independence, urging prospective corps members to embrace self-employment. Drawing from her own journey, she emphasized starting small and gradually scaling up, highlighting the potential of remote work and in-demand skills such as automobile mechanics and beading.

Encouraging continuous skill development, she advised cultivating skills even while employed, emphasizing adaptability in today's job market. Her departure was marked by a cheerful donation of a cow, uplifting spirits.

Earlier, State Coordinator Mr. Ndoma Obim Agbor underscored the importance of the SAED program in bridging the employment gap, urging corps members to seize funding opportunities and master diverse crafts through post-camp training.

The visit, coupled with insightful addresses, left a lasting impression, inspiring corps members to excel in their entrepreneurial endeavours. Meanwhile, Mrs. Kemi Adebayo, Head of SAED on Camp, emphasized the benefits of active participation in the program's components, thanking the State Coordinator and SAED supervisor for their support.
