That is the way of Aluminium measurement for example 1.2 x 1.2 is 1200x1200 in our own measurement
So BREATH will be measured first before LENGTH for the measurement
The measurement you forwarded to me it was length you first measure before breath and that was a mistake
But now it's has been arranged to our own ways of measurement

You should be using the term 'height', rather than 'length'. Length might be confusing since windows come in different shapes and sizes, some taller than they are wide and others wider than they are tall. Just my thoughts though.

I thought so as well but I struggle to find the correlation between dimeension given in cm and the quotes in mm. to convert ftom cm to mm is just to add a zero at the back na....

It's not meter bros. That is where you're confusing him. It's millimeter (mm).
3ft = 900mm
5ft = 1500mm

For convertion of his measurements in cm to your preferred mm, just add a zero to the figure... for instance 46cm = 460mm, 226cm = 2260mm and so on.

As for the breadth and length/height thing, just take the figures on the right column as your breadth and those on the left column as your length/height. Shikena!

The quotes you gave are for much bigger windows. Not the sizes I specified.

The purpose of using mm in measurement is for precision. When you begin to have only zeros at the end of every measurement, it does not show precision and lacks attention to minute details.
I would trust a workman that gives a measurement in mm for say 458 x 1189 than another that gave 460 x 1200 for the same window space.
We know plastering will take care of that small difference but again, perfection is always good.
This inattention to little detail is why a window flew off an aircraft midair recently.
