You discipline first, before you offer counselling.

The statement is more like they are trying to appease the bully.

This statement potrays a feeling of respect for the bully, as if they don't want to offend the parents, I was expecting to see words like expelled or suspended !!!

That's what big money private school do.. damage control

Next, they will find a reason to throw party and everyone will forget about it.

The bully is probably a child of their benefactor.

And moreover they don't want parents to start pulling their kids out of the school.. so they appear to pretend they are addressing the issue.

This is a very press statement from the school PR. You discipline before mitigating measures of counselling and the likes. They have failed, we cry for #justiceformariam.

SMH... They wouldn't have done a damn thing if the video didn't hit the internet.

Chrisland keeps releasing statements too, yet make no move to sanitize their school.

Private school: Bullying
Government School: Fighting
The fighting is because the bullied always tend to fight back, with some support from friends, it would have be absolute bullying too in government schools.

On #JusticeForNamtira

Just like Lead British School Abuja, 90% of Top Private schools in Nigeria serve as safe zones where failed & useless Parents send their dreadful raised offspring to.

Unfortunately, nothing can be done because the people in Government who are supposed to fight this "Anarchy" run and patronize these cesspit of badly trained children called schools.

Till date Schools like Dowen College , Premiere Academy where Sylvester Oromoni and Keren-Happuch were killed by their fellow students are still running and admitting more students Even their alleged Killers have been set free !

Maryam the lead bully who repeatedly slapped Namrita is just one of thousands of badly trained children perpetrating their evil acts other private schools. Such children should never need to have been born.

The easiest thing to do in Nigeria after an act of gross negligence is to issue a press release.

Typical!

Expulsion loading on the culprits students. Meanwhile bullying is nothing new in secondary school, most especially boarding house.
It's causing outrage because of the video. Boarders will agree with me that this is nothing compared to brutal assault students get

Sue them for what exactly, for kids being kids or that you as a parent did not bring up your kids properly?

Even though this press release is to counter any lawsuit I'd still go ahead and sue them!

Their grammatical presentation is so poor for such an expensive school.

Look who's picking holes in the grammatical presentation of others! A classic case of the proverbial pot and kettle scenario.
