Dear House, I am interested in the Australian PR program, and I am about to start the process but I would like to know my chances based on my profile: 1. I have 9 years experience in HR across for different organisations. 2. I have an MSc in Management and a BSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Mgt from University of Lagos. 3. I am 35 years. 4. My spouse is 26 years and is currently running BSc in Accounting (UNILAG). She has an OND from Yabatech in Business Admin. 5. A company were I spent 5 years out my 9 years experience shut down last year due To CBN policy on MFBs. My question is that: how can I prove my experience at the defunct company? Also, is my profile looking good enough for a positive assessment ? Furthermore, what are the chances of being nominated for a 491 visa after assessment? ( I am aware that is the only visa HR advisers are eligible for) I am eagerly looking forward to feedback from the house. Thanks a lot and may God bless you as you do so. |

Goodevening House, I am new here and everything sounds strange I need help please. I graduated with a BSC in biochemistry 2012 and Msc 2017 in biochemistry too. I have done different jobs which I wouldn’t really say are core biochemistry jobs. I have worked as a nutritionist, worked as a medical sales rep and presently managing a hotel. Do I have a chance in Australian PR? Please I will be awaiting a response. God bless. |

Flames000: Hello guys @tunlex01 @bellong Following the advise from this platform. I have applied for assessment and it came back positive. My total score From calculations at this point include assement and current English test which should expire 2025 February equals 75points and if I get nominated by a state, that’s should bring total score to 80points. However I am stuck between applying for EOI or applying for another English test and aim for superior points to bring my total score including nomination to 90points. As my previous English score of proficient. Please advise on this. Please note that I am onshore studying in Sydney. Also let’s assume I express with what I have currently, can I Update the results when I get a better English score? Also can I apply for multiple states at thesame time? |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 2:31pm On May 03 |
Flames000: You can fill EOI while still preparing for another English test. You can update your EOI with the new result if you have not received an invitation. Yes, you can apply for multiple states. However, States may overlook you if they noticed you are choosing other states too. What you can do is create different EOI for the states of your interest. 3 Likes 1 Share |

UPDATE: One of us has helped made representations to the NUC. They'd visited atleast three Directors - all of whom appears to be cooperative to help. We've been asked to submit a formal letter, which will be submitted this morning (Nigerian time). However, it will be good to have some data to accompany the letter. If you have assessed with a *4-year Bachelor Degree* from Nigerian Universities, are you able to quickly help fill this form. If we can submit 100+ data record it will show that this is an overwhelming issue. Please note that what we are trying to redress is BIG issue that's lasted for decades, so we need all hands on deck to be successful in appropriating this course. *Please fill the form before 7am, if you can* https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DamNnSrQ25HKdysEyr1adNwZfxIb_Z_KXFZ6Y9w0RIQ/edit#gid=0 3 Likes 1 Share |
