Tinubu is master strategist

has six seaports: Apapa and Tin Can in Lagos, the Onne and Port-Harcourt ports in Rivers State, the Warri Port, and the Calabar Port under federal government.

The lekki deep sea port is public private partnership

That project is nothing but a conduit pipe to embezzle public funds.
The project never went through any bidding process before it was awarded.
No other contractor was given an opportunity to bid for the project aside Tinubu's Company.
The real amount of the project is shrouded in secrecy.
Tinubu is nothing but a day time robber sad

In 20-30 years when that project is estimated to be completed, many of us will be dead. Nigeria may have ceased to exist or the world as we know it may have gone haywire.

This is not the right time for such an ambitious project considering the cost and our present realities. There are a mammoth unsolved problems in this country, a coastal highway is literally irrelevant to the plight of every Nigerian ATM. There's no situation that this Coastal Highway will assuage that a few more hours on the road will not solve. Its at best a thoughtless venture. Successive govts will abandon it, only to resurrect the idea whenever they need to steal money, just like Ajaokuta steel. If you ask me, I feel like Tinubu just wants to be known as its originator. He wants his name to be on record. The question is, at whose expense?

Even Tinubu will be so ashamed of you because of this post. Tinubu himself knows that this project is just a blue print. It's actualization is not something he will do but others after him

Landlocked regions won't see anything good in the project.. I'm happy this administration is prioritizing the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway to rapidly boost intra-continent and inter-continental commerce and trade. Nigeria is in good hands.
All the indigenous and foreign investors are rejoicing but some dummies are busy ranting. Wailing waiilers.

It is an addiction....when one struggles with such impulse control disorder which is a behavioural condition, he/she gets high from the propaganda despite the obvious reality but negative urgency propels them.....don't forget. MANNA was on a frenzy for 8 solid years, twerking to Sai Baba and anyone who had contrary view was tagged "hater of Nigeria" but today, the chicken has come home to roost, the maniac episodes has subdued while a new cohort are on that same pathway with a predictable outcome.

Psychiatry and Psychology are indeed, interesting fields. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

50 years. Fgn will still be on this project. You abandoned the east west road that is taking forever. To start a new road. Who told you you cannot reach the ports on the existing road

Is that not misplace priority? why not do Lagos Calabar railway first and connect it to the seaports to reduce cost of transportation which will lead to overall prize reduction

I was wondering same too but it is not beyond the propagandist manipulative party and tribe to play games with ppl , the poster probably knows something is wrong with the map and just incorporated those cities to garner sympathy to a wasteful useless project which will start in Lagos and abandoned just outside the gates of the southwest

For the avoidance of doubt, the Lagos- Calabar coastal highway project is being done under EPC +F. What does this type of funding entail? This is a project financing mechanism in which EPC+F contractors also arrange financing for the project. EPC+F is Engineering, Procurement and Construction plus Financing. Engineering here includes design and specification. This initiative provides a fixed price, fixed date, and transfers risks to the contractor. This type of funding requires only a counter- part funding from the Federal Government. Such funds are sourced by contractors where they have confidence in the economic policies of government, which essentially entails allowing the participation of the private sector in the road infrastructure development through PPP or EPC+F.
