Donaldoni: Nope. Even during the days when we refined most of the fuel we used in Nigeria, naira was still falling vs dollar. Our naira is hooked up to price of crude oil. That is why it is falling and rising. No oil producer has a strong currency. Saudi that appears to have one uses billions to hide the cracks so to speak. Billions of dollars. Infact in one year they spent 100 bn dollars just to keep their currency strong. Yes their finance ministry had severe palpitations and fainting lol.
