Hmm... Why are some persons upset when the failings of government is called out especially when the people in government today where the first to criticise the previous people in government. When dollar was exchanging at 216, BAT and Co harrased and insulted GEJ, organised protests, shut down the country and insulted. Nobody lashed out at them then except for those in government. So why are some persons on social media suddenly hostile towards criticising the government that has taken it to N1,300? Is this a case of psychological disorder or just a case of being a nuisance on social media? How can someone take something at N216, which he condemned, to almost N1900 and be behaving as if all is well. When sane Nigerians complained, he brings it down to 1200 and is expecting accolades and some clowns are saying it is an achievement. You destroyed a fine duplex and built a rickety shack and say you have done well. Isn't that madness? Besides, the history of apc in power has shown they cannot be relied on. That is how the clowns supporting bat today, hailed buhari even when it was glaring that the country was nosediving. Today, that just a fraction of the recklessness of Buhari's government has been exposed, they are introducing tribal sentiments. If the clowns had being reasonable enough to know that Buhari's government was bad, maybe we could have joined forces to keep them on thier toes and save nigeria from nosediving. Today, sane Nigerians continue to ask for an acceptable level of impactful management, yet, the same touts that supported buhari to brutally damage the common man are again at thier antics of supporting reckless and insincere management of the Economy. What the economy needs right now is sincerity of purpose. There is nothing wrong if government openly admits it is defending the naira and the extent to which it would do so. This would allow for stability and openess. Then go after the cabals that create problems. Don't shift the burden to Nigerians. And to those always praising without thinking, realise that any so called improvement is a farce until the government is able to get things to pre-2015 levels. In essence, the exchange rate needs to come down to N361 to $1 which would be the equivalent rate they criticised of what it was in 2014 at $1 to N216. Then we can say they have fixed thier own mess. Anything below that can now earn them fully deserved praise. 22 Likes 3 Shares |

I saw this coming, it's a no brainer. Nigeria does not earn enough foreign exchange to support naira. They were just using the foreign reserve to prop up the naira. It seems like they are running out of dollars now. It's probably going to get worse. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Beverlyjean:those countries has patriotic leaders. Their leaders aren't corrupt like ours. They provide basic necessities for their citizens. Security, Job opportunity, healthcare, education, welfare et al. Reverse is the case in Nigeria. Your leaders are so corrupt. They've eaten the future of Nigerians. Imagine a country where people cannot feed. Ordinary food is now a luxury to an average Nigerians. What do you now expect from the masses? 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Donaldoni: You lots are the true haters of this country, you put useless people into power. Local production of PMS by who? Is it by dangote who said he's importing crude from US whereas Nigeria has several million litres of crude oil with no buyers? Besides, which product has dangote, a cut-throat monopolist ever ventured into and reduced the price? Is it by port harcourt refinery whose production date your useless leaders keep shifting? Is this a lasting solution? No. Export more than you import. Earn in dollars from exports and digital products and watch the Naira stabilize. For those asking for a genuine way to export and selli digital products to the whites especially USA, buy and Resell expired domain domains online. Yes. Register good domains for $8 each and resell above $100. Isn't that an exportation? Below is one of my proofs of how I do it and if you wish to know more about what am talking about, Check this free awareness thread; https://www.nairaland.com/3430037/what-make-money-online or Google how to make money online buying and selling of expired domain names. Imagine the solution this CBN governor is bringing. How long will they continue doing this? Check the screenshot below. I bought this domain $7.99 in Dec 2023 and resold it $400 by January this year. It's all about researching and creativity. 2 Likes 1 Share

No more naira to defend it again. When we told them that their approach to defending naira is not sustainable, they abused us and told us we are the enemies of the country. As the months goes by we will truly know are the enemies of the country between us and them. We will continue to advise them on what to do, it is left to them to heed to our advise or not. They should go into heavy production of goods and services, especially agriculture and technology. Our goods must be exported to prove out worth and not this try and error approach they are doing. Lagos is not Nigeria. It is a different ball game all together. Lagos have all the resources of this world to survive, even if you put the dullest of this world to administer the state. Just as Prof. Pat Utomi said, you don't require a person with two heads to govern Lagos and that is just the gospel truth but their hailers doesn't want to hear that. Good luck to them. We pray for the survival of our country and the economy revamp in no distance time and may God grant them the foresight to do the right thing quickly before they put the whole nation into avoidable crisis. 9 Likes 1 Share |

theredaddy: The only reason it seemed the naira was appreciating was because the government was propping it up with our foreign reserves. Now they've depleted the reserves what do you think will happen? Obi said the solution to Nigeria's quagmire is to move the country from consumption to production. He even outlined the best ways to utilize each region to their fullest potentials, but some people chose to support a man who said "na statistics we go chop"? and now look where we are, people no dey even see the statistics to chop 🤣🤣🤣 Your economy is failing and will keep failing when you keep voting useless leaders into power. Anyways, the more it fails the cheaper I buy properties in choice areas in this country, so y'all can go ahead to vote incompetence due to tribal and political affiliations 12 Likes 1 Share |
