Price Adjustment on DStv and GOtv Packages

On Wednesday, 1 May 2024 we will adjust our prices across all our packages on DStv and GOtv.

We understand the impact this change may have on you - our valued customer, but the rise in the cost of business operations, has led us to make this difficult decision.

So, from Wednesday, 1 May 2024, the price adjustment will take effect as follows:

AM begining to think of downgrading my DSTV subscription. The palaver is, it means losing some of my fave channels.

The way things dey go, na to just hook up to internet permanently be that.

Please where is alternative, there is one they launched few weeks ago and after the launching i have not heard of it again. I can't even remember the name again

Hehehe! WTF! I have dissed DSTV long time ago. Now it is time the GOTV will follow suit. SA apartheid slavery wants to continue in Nigeria. Let's see what the regulatory agency or consumer protection council will do about these increment.

Nigeria has the best facilities to send this rubbish DSTV out.

try free to air with dish is about 70k but if you have your own dish, it's much cheaper. I heard there's no football though but many of my neighbors are using it now

Yesterday I subscribed to DSTV Compact plus at #19800 and I have been asking myself what content warrants such heavy payment.

Now they 've increased the price again. The only thing still keeping me and DSTV is football as I dont like going outside to watch football ever since I was almost shot by the police at night.

I wish another cable TV will just be showing football. Am done with DSTV.

U have forgotten that Nigeria is still a Zoo. The regulatory body will not do anything about it.

It is finally time to take a bow. I don try for dstv. I'll find somewhere else to watch my game shows (Pointless, Tipping Point, The Chase, Bridge of Lies, Weakest link) and Father Brown and Death in Paradise on BBC Brit and ID channel. The only two channels I watch. Sometimes BBC Lifestyle and Food Network. 15700 for repititions? Nah.

Exactly. Football is the only thing keeping many of us. I have a free to air satellite with over 250 channels but it's still pointless to me as there are no live matches. I just need EPL, Laliga and UCL and I will ditch DSTV.

So with increase in electricity tariff, DSTV still get mind to increase their charges. Wahala for people wey still dey watch DSTV.Thank God for smartphone,I can't remember the last time I turn on my TV.
