Well, football has changed and those teams we used funds to bully to submission are now getting decent players to rub shoulder with the big guns. So it's left for the big teams to go one step ahead, just as City did by adding quality and depth in their attack.

Few years ago, we beat this Sheffield 4-1, Abraham and Werner scored. This year, our striker, Jackson, couldnt shoot at their keeper in 90 mins. Even United's striker, Hojlund, scored against their terrible defence. If we had beaten them 3-2 or 4-2, we won't be here discussing this ish. When last did we discuss our 3-2 victories over Luton and Newcastle, blaming our defenders?

We have accepted our fate in the defence, as Colwill and other better defenders have been sidelined, so let the attackers do their jobs as they are served big chances to outscore the opponents. If they can't do that then that's a bigger problem as we have even small teams now with decent attackers unlike in the 2000s that you were referring to.
