@222Martins, those presently in DS/NS are already not happy with their position, remember this is due to no fault of theirs. No one/few ever imagined that the merger will experience any hitch due to the antecedents of Alhaji. As a brother/sister in NSEMPA, it is not good to add to the problem by mocking them with that your statement. At least, if you cannot solve their problem, you can do well by simply stay away from mocking them. Disclosure; I holds the two stock as well and I am not happy when you made those statement. We are suppose to be watching each others back and not stabbing each other. Peace be unto you. 5 Likes 1 Share |

ProphetUtuocha: What you are seeing is damage control. The stock will be paraborating at 8.50 to 9.50 region for some time waiting for the next court case adjournment and the 2023 calamity to be released around July. You have every opportunity to bail out now and look for a low BP stock to enter. 1 Like |

Locotrader:I have been following this NSEMPA group right from when it was created with this same moniker....but i don't comment because i don't need public opinion to invest or move my money; all i do is read, laugh and move on. And yMcy56 moniker of yesterday is talking about me being a new moniker that will disappear soon. Even Streetinvestor2 too.....Funny people!!.... . 1 Like |

222Martins:I need you to just say amen to the prayer first in order for you to judge your conscience. Even Otedola, Elumelu etc will not make that statement you made in public forum. The NGX is not all about someone loosing before you make it. If you must know, there is always a win-win situation most atimes. When you buy stock, make some money and hand over to another set to make their money too. Some bought UBA @ N5 and sold at N12 to others who are still holding/have sold at current price of N23. Not necessarily praying for people to loose money for you to profit from their lost. The last time I check, your name is not agbalowomeri , I would have understand your position. I come in peace sha. |

222Martins: What the heck are you saying, my friend? What is the certainty in that champion brewery that you have been parading here? You see hope that the price may go up if XYZ happens, the same way people in DS/NS saw hope when they heard about the merger. If you claim that the merger would not have sent DS/NS flying upward, then I don't think you are a good investor either. Now, the merger is on pause, not canceled, pending when the issues holding it back get cleared. I understand Dangote is quite busy with his refinery, which is why he hasn't pushed this one further. I can assure you that I haven't seen a project of this magnitude abandoned by Dangote; the rice mill will come, as he has invested quite a lot. The merger will happen; it is not a matter of hope, it is a matter of when. So, don't talk as if you know what the market will do next, besides hoping that your permutation is right. If you were a pro, we would know... 5 Likes |

Locotrader: The only thing Oando needs now to appreciate in price is the issues of delist, once it is settled (suspended) which will be cleared by 24th of June 2024.there is no further adjournment the price will skyrocket. |

ndept: I support this post110%. It is inhumane that some people on this forum enjoys others loosing money. I believe most of us would like the market to go up and if there are views that think otherwise. They should express them them without rubbing it on others that are loosing money. A lot of the ogas here such CP, BBM , Pa Emma,Osita , streetinvestor and Aunty Mercy have done well in presenting both positive and negative directions of the market in my opinion. We should lookout for each other. Thank you 3 Likes |

They key points of the DS announcement: *Previously Announced Merger: On July 31, 2023, DSR announced a proposed merger with NASCON and DRL through a "Scheme of Merger." *Merger on Hold: The announcement states that the merging entities have agreed to suspend the merger "for the time being." *Reason for Suspension: The Securities & Exchange Commission's (SEC) recommendation regarding the status of Dangote Rice Limited (DRL) is cited as the reason for the suspension. The nature of the SEC's recommendation is not specified. *Future Communication: The announcement assures the investing public and regulators that further information will be provided "in due course." This is where reading between the lines comes in. For those who bought in at 60 naira or higher, Pa Ema, myself, and a few others were advocating for this stock way back when it was at 18, 23, and so on. The key is to act sooner, not wait until a stock has already risen 50% before jumping on board. 2 Likes |

Owoblowblow: Are you for real Wait till the market is deepened a little bit more and going short on stocks allowed that is when you will see "Nke toro Beati". Stock trading is war as it is a zero sum game so there's nothing like a win win situation. If there was, there would have been nothing like MH. ** Know why you are getting into any Stock and if the reason is no longer there, - japa. My 2cents. 3 Likes |

Locotrader:My first Champion Brewery post was me thanking you for bringing it to my notice....... I was here when you recommended TIP, Japaul and Multiverse and they performed in the short term. I didn't make a comment to support or oppose you. I only started commenting when you started been attacked for your recommendations; even when it is glaring that they performed. 1 Like |
