Hi, Nairalanders.

Hope your day is going well.

I want to visit a country outside West Africa where I will need a visa to visit from Nigeria. This is mainly for knowledge and tourism purposes.

I wanted to visit South Africa (to see Mandela's house) or Egypt (to tour the Great Pyramids of Giza).

However, I have seen lots of negative reviews from Nigerians who complain that Egypt and South African embassies in Nigeria always delay their visa processing. Whereas they promise to process their visas in weeks, they don't get responses in months.

Please what country would you recommend? I want to know countries I don't have to wait for long to get their decision or those that won't reject my visa application.

Do you still consider South Africa and Egypt good options and why?

Visit Namibia, the country where the desert meets the ocean. One of the most sparsely populated countries in the world with very low crime rates. Kenya and Tanzania are also good tourist choices. South Africa is now a crime infested glorified shithole (thanks to the bantus) and the pyramids of Egypt are overrated (according to tourists).

Visit Zanzibar (Tanzania) and Kenya.. you can visit both countries on same trip. Just book Tanzania Return ticket on Kenya Airways, your connecting flight on return should have a day or two days layover in Nairobi, use the layover day(s) to enter Kenya.

With that, you have used one stone to kill two birds. You don’t need to visit their embassies for visas, they can be gotten online

First off, Rwanda (The capital city and environs).
Second, Mauritius.
Third, Morocco.
Fourth, Kenya.
Fifth, Tanzania (Zanzibar).

However, if you ever decide that you want to visit a West African country for the purpose of tourism, then go to Cote d'Ivoire. Abidjan is a well-planned commercial city with wide boulevards right from the Felix Houphoet-Boigny International Airport to the city centre with the very neat environment. I first visited Cote d'Ivoire in 1988 by air and I instantly fell in love with the country. Abidjan is often referred to as the Paris of Africa.

why is everyone saying Visit Rwanda..

Anyways that's how you know a serious country.. i love what they have done with Rwanda in recent times.. global positioning, Peace promotion, Excellent National culture, deepening diplomatic ties, etc

I know one cóuntry like that, that can't even as little as count how many citizens it has.. most 18 -20yr old young people in that country have never experienced Census..the last census it did was close to 20 years ago.. how do you even want to plan?! 🤔
I did not call any name o!
