For battery, unlike a solar panel, a short circuit is catastrophic because the battery can supply the the entire short circuit current without limit (very low internal resistance). In HV battery, if the terminals is not grounded (physically or capacitively), no shock ensued without touching both terminals.
funny enough, quantity of current, needed to cause an electric shock from DC source is often much more than what's required when source is AC hence 50v DC might not shock you [enough] BUT no try am with 50v AC.

But at end of the day, an electric Shock from DC source is much more dangerous than when it's coming from an AC source.

Even more. If I have Deye, I wouldn't even use its smartload function. I have much better control with my smart setup. Unlike Deye Smartload, I can shed high load selectively. I can power fridge and freezer without powering any other thing. If I want my freezer to stay on, when freshly filled, I can just set that. I can power pump without turning the heater on.

Smartload is for people who don't know that better options exist.

you see eh, in technology, smart* is mostly for those not smart [enough] so if you dey use smartLoad, smartTv, don't know about smartPhones sha

Why stress?
Use NodeRed grin

atimes, it's best using what you're much more comfortable with. That something is BETTER, doesn't mean it would work well in a hand that doesn't know how to use it well.

Most of these things are for those who don't know the lower level way of doing things.

I could write something in RUST but I am much more comfortable in GO , Python , and C++ . Then it's either of those 3 languages I would go with.

meanwhile, e be like say I make out time to do this una automation.

Electrical engineer here , it's not exactly "the amps that kill".

That's a surface-level take on the matter. There are plenty of factors that determine lethality, not purely current.

Styropyro has a good video on the subject titled "Is it the volts or amps that kill?"

At the end of the day, just stay away from live conductors.

it's funny you started your comment with the bolded.
as in, make we just swallow whattever you spill or what exactly.

see eh, make we no complicate matter for those wey no get the background. in layMans language, and with secondary school brain, Voltage is the water Pressure, Current is the water flowing, Pipe is the conductor.

Now a bigger Pipe (conductor e.g wire) would allow more water (Current) to flow through it BUT what actually helps it flow is the Pressure (Voltage) .

Now when the Pressure (Voltage) is high, BUT Pipe (Conductor) is small, the Pipe would be forced to expand (starts getting warm) and might burst (melt or start fire) so as to allow more water (Current) to pass through.

e get reason people dey carry their Tank (power source e.g battery, solar panel, etc) go very high, or use pumping machine (stepUp transformer , boost converter , step-up converter , voltage multiplier , etc) so as to increase the pressure (Voltage).

if you saw my earlier comment "you know there are people who don't know that something as little as 1-amps from a 200Volts source, is much deadlier than 12-amps from a 5Volts source" , you would understand we already have the basic covered.

And yea, there are other factors that affects how bad the shock could be e.g a voltage of anywhere from 45 to 50 volts wether na AC or DC but we don't necessarily need to state them here. no be electElect or engineering class we dey na. these na just beerParlour jist we dey do

To further add to your point
For humans death occurs due to blood coagulation ( electrolysis) in case of DC. Where as in case of AC,Pulse rate changes when Heart tries to pump with the frequency of AC and causes heart failure.

Both cases will lead to dehydration followed by burning....

Na the small things I learn from one Indian man be this
wetin me learn from personal experience be say - AC go throw way you, DC go hug you (and stretch you)

Please where can I get a vertical wind turbine to improve my yield as the raining season approaches.

Does Anybody here has experience using wind turbine?
reason why I often suggest overSize of solar panels so it doesn't take longer.

Also note that vertical wind turbine generates lower power BUT do you have enough wind sef to make it work well for you ?

Also wind turbine, isn't something you want placed just anywhere due to dangers it could pose.

If I were in your shoes, I go just overSize my solar panels, and if I need lots of power at Nights, probably increase my battery bank capacity also

This will suggest that everything is done around the distribution box then.

if I were to do something similar BUT basic, I could develope a couple of timed switches having relays inside them and use them as intermidiary between the device and the input source.

Yea I might not have the Central control BUT at least it would be more difficult to compromise or make a central mistake + I love keep things simple

Were you told of any 50% usage rule?
mayBe we go begin enforcing that on the charge controller (for people like me) or inverter. That way, as soon as battery drops to like 50%, e go shut off BUT client go complain say e no dey last.

Also I don talk am plenty times, make una dey buy dedicated charge Controllers. No dey wastte money on top inverters with built-in charge controlers. e get many CONs.
That money wey you think say you dey SAVE, you go see say na PennyWisePoundsFoolish.

Hopefully your battery never deteriorate to level way e don already negatively affect the battery.

I love clients who already have issues, dem dey quick hear word. No be those you go advice, dem go dey counterAdvice you join - later fit run go another place where the person go tell dem wetin dem wan hear.

Yes meanwhile have been charging it since yesterday with constant light together with Panel but still won’t get a fully charged battery
were you using it while the batteries were being charged OR there was no load on it at all while it was being charged ?

Also that your battery no get quality, make we tell you small truth BUT for somethng just installed, e suppose pretend to work well for the mean time.

Also care to tell us capacity of your solar panels + charge controller + other things.

You put about 2.5kva load on your lead acid battery?!!!

How are we even sure the panels capacities are real, the size of PV cables are optimal, etc

Your installer didn't give you Dos and Don'ts for your type of system Abi na those type of installers wey de promise 24hrs on top 2 battery....wahalad.

Let me give you some tips for this battery
1. Ideally You shouldn't load your batteries more than about 500watts.

2. You should not use your battery below 50% which is roughly around that 24v you are seeing.

3. Ensure electrolyte level is within range using the hydrometer screwed on it.

4. Ensure your battery charges till float after every deep discharge

Good Advice

That 55% wud drain his batteries to 50% in less than an hour. Reduced lifespan too for the batteries as he's drawing almost 50amps from each battery.
Perfect recipe for failure. He needs to sit his installer down to explain what he did and how to pamper his system.
mayBe the installer na one hustler wey no get pass basic knowledge.

580w Jinko panels was 156k days ago, now it's 172k.

Thank God I bought mine when I did.

After it was delivered on Monday it went out of stock that was when I knew something is cooking backend with the raise in exchange rate few days ago.

One thing I've come to understand in this present economy, if you need anything and the funds are available just close your eyes and get them cause things they occur now.

Circuit breaker is important between the following places
1. Inverter and Battery
2. Solar Panel and Charge Controller
3. Charge Controller and Battery

U didnt mention type of inverter and battery? Some inverters wud recommend putting a breaker between them and the battery so check ur manual too
