The UTME choice is dependent on number of departments and the probability of getting admission.....for instance to get admission to FUTA, you must be exceptionary good and smart. For covenant, you parent must get money or full time winner staff. Many picked UI for the prestige. I just use the first 3 universities for buttress point

in UI , If you are not smart and Tactical in approaching Questions , my Brother, Forget about admission

Your logic is wrong, Convenant University is private school that students pay almost a Million yearly, how many Nigerians can afford that? That’s what makes the choice low

The list tells a lot about the choices of the candidates. Unilorin is known for less disruption in academic sessions and it's also affordable. Covenant uni is very expensive. Most students would likely go for an affordable school that also has somewhat decent standards.

In addition, Ilorin accepts 180 unlike UI, Benin, Ife.

Most people brought up in Lagos can’t cope outside of Lagos. They feel that the rest of the country is a different world…they would rather stay there All their lives and then japa, than spend time in another state.

True...like me. I schooled in Lagos all through. It's NYSC that took me to Anambra. Anambra was a great experience though.

That's true....I thought it was only to process NYSC

University of Benin always impresses me. Na them dey always represent south south in any universities' ranking, doing what a university like University of Port Harcourt suppose to do. If not for Uniben no university in south south would be seen among the top 5 or top 10 in any ranking.

South south seriously need to wake up from their slumber. I see no reason why south south cannot be among the best in every area of human endeavour considering the fact that we are the backbone of Nigeria's economy; the very oxygen that is still keeping country alive.
