I don't know why Nigerians are barking as if DSTV don't have the right to increase their fee, when every other thing in the country has increased.
They are using light and fuel, which has significantly increased, and they are effected by dollars tooo.
If you can't afford it, its not by force, but stop taking it personal
Stop making excuses for them, what about the others? even with the high cost of fuel etc. their fees are still reasonable, in my own opinion, Multichoice are just too greedy, they feel like if they increase it to any amount, Nigerians will still subscribe but they have failed because people will start dumping their decoders and look for another alternative that is cheaper.

Bullshit thou expensive I'll advice if ur living in a flat of 6 or more contribute say 80k each buy a starlinks Dish ,monthly divide subscription among your selves ,if ur using a smart TV what u need Dstv for, infact our compound ppl over enjoying ,as starlinks connected to inverter.
House mine arrangement parking out you get a refund for ur contribution in buying the dish but half of it.

The harsh and bad economy is the cause of the increment.. and when the environment is not conducive for bussinesses companies industries cable tv stations to thrive and operate their business without much difficulties and stress..high costs of fuel, disel, naira depreciating against the dollars, multiple taxation, lack of constant electricity supply ate the cause of DStv increasing their prices .and it's not only DStv that increase their prices...prices of food stuffs, goods services has also increased..so why blaming and criticizing only DStv .and to do bussiness in Nigeria now is not easy because of the bad economy

Where's TSTV ?
I don't see anything wrong with Dstv increasing their subscription, they are into business, if you are familiar with the economy situation of this country, you will kwm better.
Na even the phone Network communication company am expecting them to increase their tariff, it's long overdue.
Nigerian economy is messed up.
