CountinBlessins:What a ridiculous thing to say! This is a private investment! You think a conglomerate like Maersk factors petty tribalistic concerns like yours into consideration when deciding how to invest across the globe? 2 Likes |
Re: Tinubu Secures $600 Million Deal For Nigerian Ports by omohayek: 10:27am On Apr 29 |
PHAYOL81:This is a foreign company's private investment, not some initiative of the FG. Neither the likes of you or even Tinubu himself get to decide where and how foreigners dispose of their own money. The other seaports you mention are free to go make their own pitches to potential foreign investors, but they will have to do so on the basis of how attractive they can make themselves as investment destinations, not by appealing to tribalism and "it's our turn" rhetoric in the usual Nigerian fashion. 4 Likes |

To import more of what exactly? We are still thinking outward instead of inward. How does this deal benefit Nigeria when the economy is in comatose? The naira is struggling? |
