Appletek: again it is clear evidence i didn't insult your mother first. I insulted you and not your mother. You see the irony here is this, your poor upbringing from your mother shows you are a bottom barrel person, and you are projecting your frustrations and i understand and i can only feel sorry for you because it is draining being a bottom barrel person. You really need psychiatric help |

sonnie10: So that at the end his administration he won't be able to point to a project he started and completed during his tenure. Tinubu warned South East during campaign that for you to deep your bread in the Tea you must get involved in preparing the table for the dinner. So all your shalaye falls out of his aspirations. Check transportation and haulage requests from manufacturers and Ports South East demands is the least. |

abimbola74: I think this is a bit harsh. Everyone knows how difficult it is to hold government leaders accountable in this country. I take it you're from the South West, don't the leaders there steal, who has been held accountable? Ondo State also derives 13% from oil and gas income, what is the situation of Ondo State? The only institution that seems to be at the forefront of prosecuting thieving governors is the EFCC a federal controlled body. The government have abandoned the people they are meant to protect from greedy leaders. Also, the 13% is not enough to combat the massive pollution that the oil and gas industry has caused in the Niger Delta. Osinbajo went to oloibiri and launched a 30 billion dollar initiative to clean up that area what has been done about it today? Is it the state government that would generate 30billion dollars from 13% derivation to clean up the place? The exploitation of the resources in the Niger Delta is a Federal government operation, the clean up should be a federal government operation and the development of that region must be overseen and ensured by the federal government. The region has made great sacrifices for Nigeria and I fear that when the oil is no more in demand and the people are still suffering and the land polluted , ungrateful Nigerians, in typically selfish fashion will say : after all they gave them 13% |

Glitcher: When they already gave you coastal road u expect them. To renovate the seaports at the southern regions.. They won't they know the game they're playing. Only one state attracting investors.. Only one state building the countries gdp we might think it's progress but are we really progressing.?. With the amount of people moving to Lagos by the day, Soon Lagos will decay 1 Like |

Housing:we are not interested in the exports. That has no influence on the cost of living for the people living around the port. It is the importation of goods through a port that can affect the cost of living, especially if it is an efficient port. |

Ijaya123:The state governors are also part of the problem. However this thread is not about that. We need more functional ports in the niger delta. The onne port is an inland port with all its limitations. |

Glitcher: What we need are more ports away from Lagos that can handle roro, container vessels and general merchandise.. Warri port is all of these! Is it until a port is on the sea before it can handle containers and roro? Is the point of a port not a point to facilitate imports and exports of goods? 2 Likes |

If not for igbos preventing the invasion for Fulani herdsmen to the south by now, there condition will be like kogi state and middle belt. They are not wise. I can imagine if oil finishes and they are left with nothing, they will hate themselves. Somebody like asari will just lean. |
