AbuTwins: It's not the same Allah You have told many times and you don't want to take to correction The traditional worshipers in Yoruba called God Ọlọrun or Eledumare does that means Yoruba Christians who called God Eledumare or Ọlọrun are worshipping the same God? |

Pimine: You should remind me how many years after Moses for Jesus to come? Why don't you follow Judaism by that same thought? And before you comfort yourself, no! We aren't worshiping the same God!! You want proof? No, i have proof! Your God is three in one! Ours is one only! Your God need to have a son! Our God needs no son/helper in His dominion! Your God can become man and die! Allah is far from such! And many more! |

baretalk: Does my question in line with science or not? I thought you were a science enthusiast or space enthusiast. Yes and more than you. Next time open this in the religious section. I don't need to. There are things that science can't decipher or understand So if questions are asked based on what science can't decipher or understand, does that mean a wrong question was asked? but the basics, like the questions you posed have all been answered by science... Never! for instance the earth is not 6000 years old Who said the earth is 6000 years old in the first place? we know that space is vast because of calculations and space craft man have sent to space. If our computers and equipments for calculating distances on Earth work, why will we doubt the calculations science brings out about space? You started with space is vast and went on to talk about our measurements on earth. Nothing human can do to day that can surpass the speed of light. The common measurement we employ on earth today are Radio wave, sound e.t.c. Can you tell me the equipment used to measure the size of the our galaxy? For a clue, sending information to and fro from Earth to Mars and vis versa will takes approximately 22 minutes and that was because there is already a receiver and sender in Mars. Stop mixing up religion and science... everything about religion are encapsulated in a book No! Maybe your own religion. science is beyond that Science can't be beyond human knowledge. Or we can say science is limited to human knowledge. and religion is not the way to the truth or a better world, its more about manipulation. Your opinion not generally acceptable. |
Re: Why Is There Sun In The Space And The Space Is Still Very Dark by optimusprime2(m): 5:45pm On Apr 29 |
The answer to this question is in one word; "Distance" and in physics, that word has a formula which is= Speed × Time When you factor in the speed of light, The average distance between your eyes and the void from your vantage point, And the average time it takes light to get to your eyes for you to perceive the refraction from the source.... That is one of the main reasons why space appears dark in the presence of the Sun and other stars. |

Re: Why Is There Sun In The Space And The Space Is Still Very Dark by Emusan(m): 5:48pm On Apr 29 |
AbuTwins: It's not! They don't call ON THE SAME GOD. That is fact. Every tribe/language/cultures has the name for the Supreme being, but with unnecessary idolatrous attachments and beliefs! The attachment already complicated everything, which means THEY DON'T CALL ON THE SAME GOD. The Allah Arab Christian called upon, Has A Son and His Son died on the Cross. So it can be the same God with Muslim Allah. |

So because someone ask a thought inspiring question that could led to a knowledge-filled discussion you now conclude both the op and we, the readers do not went to school? You be serious mumu aswear. Dozens of graduate can't give a detailed answer to this question. Even if you know it,there's nothing bad to learn from other people perspective. We are all here to learn. Whether you went to school or not, they are many things you are ignorant of. |

Mj4199: Great post! Let me add this. Space isn’t lit up by sunlight because it doesn’t have an atmosphere. Only certain planets do. Now, an atmosphere here is a mixture of gasses trapped and held in place by the gravitational force of an astronomical body around it. So we talk of torrents, vapor or clouds etc. So how does this affect the Sunlight as we see it? First the Sun emits a huge amount of electromagnetic waves including the visible light waves we can see. The white light you see is actually a combination of different wave energies from violet to blue, green, yellow, orange red… with red having the highest wavelength . As a result of this, the atmospheric elements refracts the light energies with lesser density on the spectrum which happens to be the blue 💡 light. That’s why the sky appears blue during the day, and yellowish orange at sunset when the direct rays of the Sun would be passing through thickest levels of the atmosphere, scattering the blue lights, leaving us with orange red view from the spectrum band. The Moon doesn’t have an atmosphere, hence its sky, if observed from its surface, would be dark, setting the Sun distinctly outlined as opposed to glowing, lit up view on Earth. The absence or presence of an atmosphere makes the whole difference. |

Cause the sun is only a small fragment embedded in space which is unlimited and reaches far out as the eyes can see. If you have a candle or torchlight it would reflect in your immediate surroundings or where you point it too. That's how the sun also faces us and reflects only in our part but can't to the entire universe. |

Re: Why Is There Sun In The Space And The Space Is Still Very Dark by sprints1: 9:07pm On Apr 29 |
CountinBlessins:biggest rubbish I have seen all day... The earth is guarded by a firmament which serves medium for reflection. This justify why the earth is flat... The bible said it water below water above... So the water above is like a shiny medium... The space logic I don't really know. But the sky is actually dark... But if you loom closely at night u will realize water is present ... This also explains why we can only see seven colours remember black and white are not colours |

The sun is a tiny dot of star in the vastness of the universe. There are are more than two trillion galaxies in the observable universe, each having billions of stars. Some brighter nd bigger than the sun. |
