This is HIGHLY commendable if they can sustain it.

What governors have been receiving since removal of subsidy, without dem increasing salaries should be questioned by efcc

Another politicking.. This is good for those that will benefit but Obaseki is still worst Governor of Edo State after Lucky Igbinedion. Mr Obaseki was voted as a Governor of Edo state and not Oredo Local government chairman. How many projects did he execute in other LGA of the state.

In short, na refurbishing of building structures for government use and few schools are what I can really say he did.

All his red bus for intra state are no more. With no shame Obaseki is using Oshiomole's bus to do free transport for Eso people. Who are fooling! Na Labour Party I blame to bring Akpata otherwise PDP and APC for too loose this election.

Lol.. I'm sorry for Edo staff. Just prepare for months of unpaid salaries..
THANKS FOR YOUR OBSERVATION. THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT STAFF ARE PAID 60% OF THEIR MONTHLY WAGES. WHO WILL PAY THE CUMMULATED 40% NOT PAID OVER TIME.

Call it Pre election gimmick or whatever. This is a very good for people of Edo state. Especially the civil servants there. When the country was getting hard, he increased it to 40k now the country is very hard. He has gone 70k. This means he feels the pulse of the people! Also, he could have kept these money and use it to buy votes! So I think he has done well with this policy

At least in the absence of a formal increase as demanded by Labour, every plus is welcome now.

Abi workers should be denied access to any relief until Labour/FG formally conclude?

Then he should call it salary increase, not minimum wage

Shebi FG has announced minimum wage now. The highest increment is 35% across different parts Salary scales.

So even FG proposal puts the minimum wage at #40,000 Max....

Isn't this poor compared to #70k announced by Obaseki? Or should he downgrade the amount to suit your preference/requirement?

In Edo, before the 28th of each month, salary alert has entered. Obaseki is not in the business of owing gbese like his predecessor

I doubt you are even on ground in benin-city, let alone Edo state.

Else you would have know that transportation via the Edo state "Comrade" buses had been made free....

From June year till last April, people move freely oin Edo within benin metropolis, to as far as Auchi, Okpella, Uromi, Ekpoma Irrua in Edo state free of charge.

That was one of the palliatives given to the dear people of Edo state, both Civil Servants and private workers alike.

Na una dey complain say Obaseki has done nothing, if E do, una go say E get agenda, E mind no pure that na why E do am....

Who swear for una?
