TechBaron:You are most definitely NOT from the South of South region of Nigeria OR from the Niger Delta. Just right below is a newspaper article from March 2024 featuring Chief Edwin Clark who is a foremost Ijaw and Nigerian nationalist commending the President Bola Tinubu administration for starting the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway construction. He also told Tinubu in an open thank you letter to also simultaneously finish the East-West Road, and other major roads in Nigeria. Chief Edwin Clark has NEVER insulted the current Tinubu-led Federal Government or told them to stop the construction of the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway like a vast number of some well-known narcissistic Ibos on this Website and other online platforms have been saying due to envy and ethnic bigotry! =>https://nigerianpilot.news/2024/03/30/clark-hails-tinubu-for-lagos-calabar-coastal-road-project/ One of the NL posters from the South East earlier this week could not even hide his bigotry and envy when he posted that the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway should have passed through the South East and proceeded to mention the routes in Iboland the road should have passed through. More than 98 percent of those openly condemning this public-private partnership road construction on NL and other online platforms are well-known Ibos or Ibo monikers and this is the reason why Dave Umahi also said the man who contested the last Presidential election and came 3rd was further inciting the South East against the success of the road construction because Dave Umahi himself has come under inciting attacks online by this group of toxic trolls among the Ibos! =>https://sunnewsonline.com/how-lagos-calabar-coastal-highwayll-be-financed/ Tell me, how can a coastal highway pass through the South East which has NO coastline or shares direct boundaries with the Atlantic Ocean? This shows a complete lack of critical thinking from some of these young, very toxic and ill-informed NL posters tbh. 1 Like |

This road will not pass Lekki Free trade zone axis....linking Eko Atlantic City(co-owned by the Chagourys, the main sponsor of the road project) to the new port, refinery, fertilizer company l, propose Lagos state airport and other economic hubs......that is the only viable portion of the road that can be tolled.... You should wonder why it was approved in secrecy and urgently after Tinubu's private trip to France(Paris is where the Chagourys live now)in January. Think, my people, think well!! 1 Like |

Bluntemperor: Sensible businessmen would have started buying land near these corridors now to resell and develop real estate when these areas open up. The impact would be massive. I enjoy the industrial complexes that would spring up. I see what they are trying to do. They want to decongest Lagos. For those who are business-minded, invest in real estate along these corridors. I heard rumours that Rochas Okorocha invested in land in Abuja that partly made him a multi-millionaire. |

The road you are referring to here (marked in Red) is not the proposed coastal road but the existing road linking southwest to South South through Ore. |
