Konquest:My brother, the Niger Delta are not interested in whatsoever highway. This attitude of tagging anyone who doesn't align with your view Igbo is nauseating. |
Re: Economic Importance Of Lagos Calabar Coastal High Way by Konquest: 10:16pm On May 01 |
TechBaron:It's incorrect and highly NAUSEATING for you to boldly say that the Niger Deltans are NOT interested in the highway. Who made YOU a mouthpiece for the Niger Delta? Are YOU more Niger Deltan than Chief Edwin Clark and other Niger Deltans who have commended the construction of the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway? "Edwin Clark hails Tinubu for Lagos-Calabar coastal road project" =>https://nigerianpilot.news/2024/03/30/clark-hails-tinubu-for-lagos-calabar-coastal-road-project/ Just right above and below is a newspaper article from March 2024 featuring Chief Edwin Clark who is a foremost Niger Deltan, an Ijaw and Nigerian nationalist commending the President Bola Tinubu administration for starting the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway construction. He also told President Tinubu in an open "thank you" letter to also simultaneously finish the East-West Road, and other major roads in Nigeria. Chief Edwin Clark has NEVER insulted the current Tinubu-led Federal Government or told them to stop the construction of the Lagos to Calabar Coastal highway like a vast number (over 98 percent) of the well-known narcissistic Ibo trolls on this NL Website and other online platforms have been relentlessly saying and opposed to this major road construction project due to envy and ethnic bigotry! No one in his right senses Will say such project is not good. The issue some people have concern with is the timing. Can our economy afford such project now? Should we not get out of the red and into the green, stabilize the economy before investing in the this? |

LegendHero: Oga shush that mouth of yours if truly the road is linking existing federal roads. How come it is costing that much? Something doesn't add up. The design you are showing here doesn't link all the.ports in the south South. Make una take am easy to dey lie. |

Re: Economic Importance Of Lagos Calabar Coastal High Way by Realtruth2023: 2:57am On May 02 |
Biodun556: Dude the map you showed is the coastal line and not the road. Secondly can you explain the humongous amounts for this project of it links existing road infrastructures. Thirdly the road is not linking all then ports that one is a lie. It is not linking Koko port, Warri port, PH port or Calabar Port. Even at that there is no economic sense to link all the ports via a 700km road. That one is pure BS. That money should have been channelled to renovate existing roads and build new ones that connect the ports to the hinterland. |

Re: Economic Importance Of Lagos Calabar Coastal High Way by Realtruth2023: 3:01am On May 02 |
Zamzamiu: Coastal highway in Banjul is it linking various ports? Banjul is a long stretch of coastline, and so it makes economic sense for a coastal road linking various beach resorts. In Nigeria's case it is pure unadulterated BS to build a 700km road connection ports, on what basis? This is the question FG has been unable to articulate to the masses. |
Re: Economic Importance Of Lagos Calabar Coastal High Way by Shikena(m): 3:01am On May 02 |
What is said is said. The usual suspects are the only ones unhappy. Realtruth2023: |
Re: Economic Importance Of Lagos Calabar Coastal High Way by Realtruth2023: 3:04am On May 02 |
Zamzamiu: Bro I am well versed in West Africa. Using Gambia as a case study is pure BS. Banjul is a long stretch of coastline. So having a coastal road to link resort effectively makes pure sense as it serves as a tourism booster. In Nigeria's case it is BS. On what basis are you linking ports in the South, when the hinterland which can feed them with goods for exports and can serve as the outlet for imports are in a poor state? |
