BigkokoRep: Obviously you must go through the National Assembly via your governors and State Houses to get secession. If you think that is "lies and deceit" you are simply not an intelligent person. As for the rest, the head of the Nigerian Ports Authority has said all the ports are working. Who are you to say otherwise without evidence? Keep clowning online - do you think you are achieving something here? Then continue! 3 Likes 2 Shares |

You are getting there gradually. No go tell ur governors to start making plans on how to build una own ports and make it viable. At least una dey collect allocation and also generating IR just like the Lagos that you love to hate. AND NEVER IN UR LIFE INSULT ME AGAIN AS I DIDN'T INSULT YOU. BigkokoRep: 2 Likes 1 Share |

SmartyPants: Best Post here. With each region having the power of self-rule and self-determination the whole gamut of developmental economic activity, bringing the reality of unhindered progress, will quickly open up to focused and dedicated regional blocs to do as they please with. That is the real and transformational power, under a new system, bright and visionary folks should be seeking. Not myopically shouting oil, ports , this road and that road up and down which are just excuses of lazy and unimaginative thinkers. Studious folks can be encouraged to work for regional autonomy by what Tinubu achieved using PPP, under very restrictive 'one Nigeria', to deliver Eko Atlantic, LFTZ and so much more. Yet those who have the most indolent leaders, which should be their primary worry and focus, are busy bigotedly, hatefully and ignorantly shouting daily "give us ports and Lagos will become empty by 2025" and such garbage when they should be very worried about the poor, indolent, incompetent and intellectually unfit human resources they parade as leaders. To me, 99% of the problem of Nigeria boils down to poor human resources which, unlike what obtains worldwide, is of a variant not adept at innovative delivery of solutions for difficult but surmountable challenges all Nigerians face. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Sledgehammer300: Precisely. What is one of the symbol of failure more than NDDC that was given a lot yet delivered so little, because of corruption, for the people of the Niger Delta? Primarily tackling indolent incompetent and solution-bereft leadership, at our respective local levels, is what most ordinary Nigerians should be concerned about. Not hatefully sabre rattling against our fellow ordinary Nigerians, because of their different ethnicity and religion, when they are in precisely the same both as us. 1 Like |

BigkokoRep: You're too hatefully unintelligent and ignorant to see the big picture. That why you come here daily, and will do same for the next 30 years, to drag and spite your fellow Nigerians you feel the need to belittle instead of just getting to work, the right way, to deliver the development you have been telling us you 'superhuman' being are capable of for about seven decades now. Your great grandfathers who were nauseating bigots and empty Igbo supremacists, like Azikiwe, Charles Onyeama and co, shouted many decades ago that Igbos are superior and "ordained" to lead others. 7 decades latter their irredeemable offsprings, to included yourself, are doing precisely same with nothing at all to show for your supremacist noise over such a lengthy period of time. To date, no Igbo can even reach the ankle of Awolowo in terms of delivery of transformational leadership. Ditto for Tinubu in the modern era. In fact you Igbos, on average, have paraded the worst and noisily lousiest leaders in Nigeria since independence, despite your empty supremacist rants, confirming you are a doomed people who will never move forward until you learn the right lessons and note what really matters for societal progress and development. In the case of your Igbos that lesson is to work on your very flawed persona rather than continue to believe you are better and superior to all others merely because you are indoctrinated from the womb to run with that whereas reality proves way different and only confirms you all a highly delusional and disruptive people. https://www.nairaland.com/1086230/igbo-started-tribal-politics-south 2 Likes |

Just reading through comments you will quickly realize by a Prof of law deputized a coupist and why a White haired cultist preferred a dictator to a full fledged Democrat! Or why a druggie held Lagos in vice like manner! Honestly, igbos has no business been citizens wit some of y'all! By the way, every of una don be indigene of Lagos! Na waooo! Hopefully, given my research, all the remnants of 1940s to 1970s bourgeois will soon die off...then we will know of these current jerkies can do anything! BigkokoRep: Dullard. Mark my words, because such time is now gradually crreeping upon us, that it is Igbos who will be totally finished economically and societally, in the near future, with the inevitable governance change Nigeria has to adopt or risk facing ruination otherwise. I.e autonomy for all regions to go and make what they can of themselves and thus cumulatively save Nigeria from imminent and horrendous collapse. When such is a reality, and you glorified traders are cut off from the markets and spending power of others, especially biggest spenders SW, the SE will be no better than the many deprived and backwater nations of Africa. Only a fool, and off course immodest and emptily arrogant Igbos, will not know Igbo wealth and sustenance comes from the ability to trade outside ala Igbo. We will see how things will be in 10 years. Folks should bookmark this thread and pray God spares us all till then so you uncouth and vision-bereft dullard can watch events play out in 3D and HD sef. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

What an ignoramus! Since I was born I have only visited Lagos only a handful times, when I went for work related feasibility, and anytime I'm flying out of Nigeria! You think everyone shares your taste of living and projecting a slum! Anytime my kids flies out through LOS, I know the words they use in describing that slum! Try travel, you too go get taste! I have businesses and outlets in Nigeria, other African Countries and Europe, I will sooner site a location in Hell than in Lagos or anywhere in SW! I took a cue from the Great Nnewi Industrialist, by now GTB saga for don consume Nigeria only functioning Car Manufacturer! But for his daft move on time to relocate back to his cove! Na small small, the Critical Mass go soon form. I'm glad our unbelieving elites are now smelling the coffee! One day he go do una vroom for eye! TopBanter: |

Oh now I get it now. It's all about Peter Obi right? You still never recover from last year defeat abi, don't worry, the Lord is your strength. You accuse Tinubu of being a drug lord meanwhile u guys are the biggest importer and exporter of illegal drugs. Yes Ports are the exclusive right of the federal government but if ur governors should ask for permission to build one I'm sure it's going to be granted just like the Lagos State own was granted so make ur governors do the needful. Osnuf34: They will always be full of excuses because their parents only indoctrinated them to believe they are superior but never actually showed them how the mediocrity inherent in many of them translates into superiority above others. This is why a whole seven decades or so after their forebears like Azikiwe, Charles Onyeama etal made offensive Igbo supremacist noise, no single Igbo State today is exemplary or a stand-out model of good governance and innovatively talented leadership. Not a single one. They are just hateful, insecure and empty megalomaniacs always primed to fight others and disturb the peace of society daily instead of introspect to look at themselves sincerely and progressively That odious, offensive and divisive character, that see them isolated and treated as pariah worldwide, will never leave them. It will also ensure they never amount to much, collectively, as an ethnic group. If Brits, Americans, Germans, French or Japanese brag about being talented, they have they superior and optimally developed geographical enclaves to back any talk. Never so delusional 'developers' people and never will be so. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

I don't think you people understand. The largest seaports in the world are based around large cities. Shanghai Port, Hong Kong Port, LA Port and the Port of New York and New Jersey. These cities are super populated. It means no matter how good calabar or onne Port becomes they would never come close to Lagos' ports level because unlike calabar Lagos is a mega city. Because unlike Lagos how many people move to Calabar or Port Harcourt 1 Like |

BigkokoRep No one has ever stopped other states from developing their seaports. This perpetual lie seems endless. Onne port in Rivers state handles more cargo than Apapa in Lagos. Lagos is the preferred port of importers because the state has the largest economy in Nigeria, it's economy is reported to be larger than that of Kenya. 1 Like |
