Hmmmm, since you are not using the appointment hope you didn't confirm, in other to give space to other people? If you know you are in Germany already or another country and you confirmed the mail please go cancel your appointment please in other to give chance for people and reduce the waiting time, please

It's not upto 22 months, I applied for AD last year April and I received a mail last week to confirm appointment.

Though I will not use it, I am waiting for Chancenkarte[/quote]

Dear nairalanders,
I hold a Bsc from Nigeria authenticated by federal ministry of education and foreign affairs in 2016. I also have a masters degree from another country. I am planning to apply for a master program in Germany. To prepare my application, I have a few questions:
1) Do I need to notarized my Nigeria Bsc certificate by a notary public? If so, should the certified copies be scanned in color? It is better to have all documents as clear as possible so yes scan in color and have it notarized.
2) Should I include my current Masters degree certificate when applying through Uniassist? It is advisable to include it. It gives you an edge above those applying with just B.Sc because it shows you are familiar with the rigours of completing a masters program.
3) when is the application for the summer intake starting? Is the winter intake for data science still open? You have to check the timeframes for each school you want to apply to but winter intakes usually start applying just before summer semester starts.

Thanks in advance for your guidance

After daad then through uniassist. They will help you instead of going through all those stress.

It’s better if you can just notarize all of your document in including your masters degree certificate uniassist won’t care if it’s colored or black and white in as much it’s clear enough to see, send all your document including bsc and MSc let uniassist select the one that is suitable for your application

. Summer semester has resumed in Germany already so you have to wait till July/aug to apply for winter semester…

You will have to check out with the school you have choosing if your course is open for admission but during winter most if not all of the programs in German are open for admission… you should be bothered about appointments tho. Best of luck

Hi, I got the email as well I don't know what the are up to. Some people must have gone to other countries, while some have lost their admission. What do you think we do without admission now but still interested in applying as soon as possible for winter if the appointment will favour again

Where you giving appointment date ?

Try and look for school that will give you admission. I think there are schools that are open for winter.

You can get your Permanent resident card in benin Republic

You don't need to wait 20 month, just 6 month after your card... its real

Interview can be done in English, and its possible because I did mine there

Please has it ever happened to anyone where the embassy claims to have sent a decision (email) and you didn't receive anything from them
Could it be a mistake on their part ?
Because we have checked my cousins email and nothing from them

Have you also checked your spam folder?

Are you also sure your cousin didn't delete some messages?

If it was an approval mail that was sent but not received, do you think they'll resend it
We've been on this case since 2021/2022

Good morning
I applied for student copy transcript few weeks ago, and I was told it takes 3 to 6 months. Is that the right one I need?

I was told it will be sent to my mail. How then can one get it authenticated, since it's a soft copy.
Was that the transcript you used when you applied?

There are two categories for student visa

Cat A [phd, people with scholarships and people that graduated with a first class not more than two years] - the wait time for appointment is a few days.

Cat B [people that graduated with 2.1 and below and also people going for bachelors] - the wait time for an appointment date is 20-22 months.

The embassy replied that the enrollment letter given has expired (after paying enrollment fee to the school) and we can file a complaint with the administrative court
This process is frustrating and tiring
Is there any other hope or anything we can do

U can appeal yourself without going to any court, just address the issue with the embassy in an official appeal letter with a current/new enrollment certificate

They said since Jan 2024, they don't accept appeal again
And this is a reply from an appeal I did in March 2023
