Hey 🀠

1. Your approach of input or additional info is acceptable as a perfect human being. I actually thought the OP wrote that his J2 visa had expired over the past 48 months (nevertheless, i still pointed out some J2 expiration truths).

2. I accept your point that anyone can try to manoeuvre or be impatient towards various types of USA visa rules , but i want to personally challenge you to answer YES or NO for the general public to read ;

3. 90% Of J1 (J2) visa policies States that ;

β€œβ€¦. you must be physically present in your country of nationality or last legal permanent residence for an aggregate of at least two years after departing the US at the end of your J-1 program. β€œ Immigration and Nationality Act, Section 212(e). YES OR NO ?

4. But the section also states ; If you cannot return home for two years, you must apply for a waiver (which is a tedious work).

5. I understand what you claimed above but in all honesty. Will you kindly post that section that states that you don't need to stay in your country for straight 2 years ? I can't know everything. Just post your source , i may be using it for future references.

Put an end to this charade, justwise and ban this mofo.

We need genuine profiles here and not multiple fake accounts created by this scammer to scam unsuspecting real users. He will ask fake questions and praise himself and answer himself, all by himself.

How long can this go on? Ban and block the idiot for life and end this once and for all. While doing so, throw away the keys.

We don't need people with mental problems on this space. We need people that have a working brain.

Honestly Mr danburuwa, you don’t put your assumptions out if you are not 100 percent sure. They created a WhatsApp group with over hundreds of persons there, I asked a question no one responded. I came on nairaland and he answered me for free where some will even request for money!! Mr oyotunji is a treasure, he is one of those good Nigerians!!!

Hello, I intend to pursue my master degree program in civil engineering at the florida atlantic university boca raton. My interview date is May 13th. I'm concerned about self sponsorship. I'm a full time car dealer in Abuja and I've been able to raise enough money from my business over the years to able to sponsor this visa. Do I have a good chance of getting my visa approved or is this a concern for me? Almost every applicant I've met is being sponsored by someone. I need answers pls. 07067314629

Hi there,

I have a question about getting a new I-20 form and sevis id if one decides to attend a different school than the one he originally got admitted to.

He is currently admitted to a US school and has already received an I-20 form with a sevis id number. However, he recently got an offer from another school that he would prefer to attend.

Is it possible to get a new I-20 form with a different sevis id number for the new school? If yes, could you please provide guidance through the process and what needs to be done to make the change between schools?

Thank you for your help thus far! I really appreciate it.

I have secured an M Power loan of 40k dollars but I don't intend to use the loan for Visa interview, someone should kindly suggest as an alternative, I'm on a very lean budget and cannot afford to pay for POF... I need advice pleaseeeeeeeee, even though I work as an executive trainee with a tier 1 bank I'm tired and want to change my career path.

Hey 🀠

1. I like your thinking. M Power loan will make the consular thinks that you do not have any hope of repaying your loan except you started working and how many years of work will you do to make up with approximately NGN 75. M ?

2. Let's leave it that way. Your best option is to use a 3rd party employer in the medical field (ie LASUTH, OOUTH, IGBOBI, LUTH etc) as your sponsor .

3. Wisdom is profitable to direction.

Are you asking on behalf of yourself or someone else?

In any case, simply contact your admission counselor who issued you the previous Form I-20, letting them know of your intention so they can provide you with a transfer release date. They are in the best position to guide you through this process.

You can request the transfer by yourself on the fmjfee website.

Follow the steps outlined in the link below.

https://www.ice.gov/sevis/i901/faq

Here's an excerpt from that link:

"I-901 fee transfer requests can now be made directly from www.fmjfee.com. To request a fee transfer from the website, you will need to begin by checking your payment status. Once the information is entered, you will be taken to your I-901 records. If there is a valid fee payment on your record a request transfer button will appear next to the print confirmation button. Once you select this transfer option you will be prompted to enter your new SEVIS ID, School or program code and verify that your personal information is correct. After submitting your request you will be sent an initial email informing you that your transfer request was received and then you will be sent another email either confirming the transfer with instructions to print your new payment confirmation or a denial email explaining why the transfer request could not be processed.

Requests for fee transfers can also be made by mail or e-mailing SEVP. SEVP will consider your request and determine if the fee can be transferred. See the section on the basic rules for transferring fees.

When emailing your request put Fee Transfer in the subject line of your request.

Provide:

Your name
Date of birth
The SEVIS ID number that you originally paid on
The SEVIS ID number you want to transfer the payment to
Explain why the fee needs to be transferred. It will help speed your request if you include a copy of your receipt number. Include information on how to contact you if there are any questions.

SEVP will review your request and determine if the fee can be transferred. If your request is approved, you will receive an email or letter indicating that you can now print your updated I-901 payment confirmation at www.fmjfee.com reflecting the SEVIS ID from your new Form I-20 or DS-2019.

When you apply for any benefit where the I-901 SEVIS fee will be verified, you will need to provide a copy of the updated I-901 fee receipt."

This is as far as I can guide you. Your school's Designated Official (DSO) or Admissions Counselor is in the best position to guide you.

Hey 🀠

1. If you have not paid SEVIS fee then your situation is easy . You can apply to 20 schools and pick any one that interest you . Any school you finally picked would be the school that you will submit her (the University) SEVIS code when filling the SEVIS payment coupon online .

2. If you have paid SEVIS fee on a particular school , i will advice that you wait till you receive your F1 visa and after that you can transfer your SEVIS record to the school of your choice after arrival (on USA campus).

3. He should follow the same process he used in getting the 1st Form I 20 with the second school . Once he received the new Form I 20, then the next thing is to fill another DS 160 and pay MRV (Visa fee).

3. It's not a hard situation . Let me know your exact standings .

Hey 🀠

1. Yes, generally it does not sound well for a student to sponsor him/herself. The notion is that a student is not working and must collect school fees and feedings from someone...* But that notion is from creche to Secondary school levels. However, the beliefs still follows all levels of studentship.

2. If you are from age 35 and above, you can actually sponsor yourself as a CEO of a running and reputable Building Construction / Civil Engineering company in Nigeria . You are married with kids and your company is expanding beyond your expectations and you needed modern /advanced technology skills to keep up with the pace.

3. Don't tell the story of that car dealership to the USA consular .

Hello gurus in the house, please I need information on USA schools that offer masters degree admission with application fee waiver. Your input will be well appreciatedπŸ™

Your probability of getting a visa since you are going with your family is 3/10. But with a phd is 8/10. Moreover, it's not easy to work and pay school fees here in the usa. But many people think you are discouraging them. Getting a scholarship with funding is the best.
But try it first, you may be fortunate.

Please I will like to be added to Abuja f1 group , please share the link with me

Hey 🀠

1. If your friend is about to attend her F1 interview and she still has 1 week interval. Then let her quickly fill another DS 160 form and discard the old one .

2. After the filling , log in to her cgi portal and click on update-profile, clears off the old Ds 160 number and type the new number and save then log out of the cgi.

3. Afte 3 days , log in back to her cgi portal and click on Appointment, she should download and print another appointment letter .

4. The new printed appointment letter will contain (automatic update after 3 days) the new DS 160 numbers .

5. She should attend her F1 visa with the new appointment letter and the new ds 160 printout . By this , her appointment letter and ds 160 carries same information. DS 160 is of utmost important , she should go fill another one . Don't wait for embassy !

Best Wishes πŸ™

It doesn’t take 3days to get the new number on the appointment date. It is immediately the profile is updated.
