You must be slow. How else do you expect a child to behave? Kids will dare to do things not knowing the dangers involved. Your type will allow a child fall off a building cos you are sure he stupid to think he could fly. If Nigeria has 50k more of your type then the country is in trouble.
An 11 yr old isn't a kid he's old enough to understand the danger of water and fire.

Didn't you read where they said he refused. What about the other friends?

Why didn't they drown? Probably, they used the safety measures.

Let's always be truthful and real and not carried by emotions.

Firstly, he left his sister, secondly, he didn't use the facilities before entering the pool. ( That kind of show the type of boy he was)

I wonder why he left his sister for the pool.

Opeifa reported that her 12-year-old son, Iremide Opeifa, was rushed to the hospital after drowning while swimming with friends at the Grand Park Hotel, Ota. Sadly, he was confirmed dead at the hospital.

The only mistake here is that he wasn't rushed to the hospital on time. And it seems there was an hospital beside the police station. What's wrong with people? Why not save life first before other things?
The way some of you reason is disgusting. So an 11 year old kid will tell u how he wants to swim. More reason the hotel should be revoked and the management in jail

Mother should hire a lawyer and sue the hotel for reckless endangerment and manslaughter

If you are selling swimming pool access to unsupervised children you are liable.

I am shocked at their defence. It is mind boggling

you cant say whether the poster is a bitter hateful sick in the head individual, or an idiot trolling for the lulz

they run around sites like 4chan and think the behavior of first world edgelords is something to emulate

or their lives are so fked that they celebrate the misfortune of others

Stop with all these kind of reasoning. The statement of the lawyer trying to defend the hotel is in the writeup. If the boy wasn't a paying customer, the lawyer would have gladly stated it. Rather the Lawyer's argument was the the hotel has floaters and life jacket for it's customers which the customer (the boy) did not use. 'you are pretty sure the boy paid no dime' which hotel will allow someone swim for free? When it's time for the pool attendant to make account to the manager he will write that some people swam for free right? Because I have worked in a hotel before and your manager or supervisor simply counts the number of people in and out of the pool to determine how much you should account for at the end of the day.

Talking about affording to pay for swimming. How much is 500-1k that the boy cannot afford? The same money that children that age have been spending in game house since the early 2000s. Are we in the new world where children don't take their parent's money to go and spend on mundane things?

Please try no dey quote me with this kind reasoning.

It's well bro.

With the way the police is quick to try and cover up, it probably belongs to him. Either way, it belongs to an influential person, that's why there's pressure on the woman to let go of any case.

That's your opinion. He is still very much a child with poor calculations and understanding of danger. He is 11 not 35

Just imagine. If it were to be a child of a rich man that drowned the whole Internet would have gone berserk
