In as much as I am a proponent of Airpeace, and other Nigerian airlines, they ought to understand that their base is Nigeria and Nigerians. Treating local fliers with impunity and disdain with regards to flight is not how to achieve a strong aviation control.

The consumer protection agencies have a role to play in holding them responsible and taxing them heavily for each individual passenger they disenfranchise.

Actually local flight operators need to be called to order. They'll delay your flight so many times and some times cancel after so many delays without any consequences. Leaving the passenger to fend for themselves. They don't care if you have a place to stay, money to book a hotel or what to eat while waiting for the next flight schedule.
Very wicked of them.

Especially Airpeace. They should win an award on delays and cancellation.

Nigeria is just a very useless country with very useless citizens, except a few. In 2021 I used local flight, and sworn never to do it again in my life, within 1 week, they changed flight time Like 5 times.
The plane was a flying BRT bus. 3 years later, instead of getting better, they are worse.

This is where the government should come in and protect its citizens. They will collect money from you with ease but will be giving excuses to delay or avoid a refund thereby holding you hostage through the money you paid. It's a general disease in this country.

In as much as I agree with this suggestion for airlines to refund passengers on demand when flights are delayed or cancelled. My only fear is that these airlines may choose to continue with flight when it isn't safe just to avoid refunds.
