Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by toolluu: 9:41am On May 05
My wife is the student and I’m the dependent. My employer has sent my COS, under the new entrant condition ( working toward being chartered in profession). I earn above the new minimum salary but below standard going rate of my job code. Just want to confirm because you’ve responded to someone saying the new entrant is not applicable to dependents.

I'm sorry. I don't quite understand your question. Can you rephrase please?

Thank you very much. I really appreciate

Pick a slot that is not greyed out. It looks like prime time / flexi but most are not. You will be asked if you want to upgrade. Just say no and check out. You won't be charged any money. Check all the boxes not greyed out - usually 8.30am slot.

Ok thanks so much.
I'm not on a Student visa. I'm on COS.
kindly do not fill on any visa form that she is coming to stay for 6 months as you have written above… especially for someone not able to foot their travel bills. 1 month and below is better to put.

I believe you are good to go. The only issue might be your salary being below the going rate for your job code. I suggest you double check with your employer. They are in the best position to advise you.

Is TLS now turning to American Visa Appointment? No available slot from now till June for TLS Ikeja...I dont know whats going on.

I can't see any appointment dates from today 5th May till end of June for regular self service. I tried to check for July, but the system hasn't even allocated time slots for July.

The available dates that are blocked out with white background are for "Regular Service with avialble upgrade to premium". When I select this, it asks me to confirm if I want premium service. I decline, and it cancels out.

Check very late at night or very early in the morning. 11pm to 2am

Choose regular but don't upgrade. It usually works.

Hi Opeyemi007,

How did you get it overturned?

Opeyemi007:
Visa Alert
I had a 6 months visa that expired in November. I visited the UK Thrice
Biometrics date March 11 (Priority)
Collection date March 18.
Visa duration 2 years.

I didn't do a lot of things I did in the first application;
I didn't pay myself any salary( I spent a lot of £ in the last trip to UK/EU), so I stated that I have been reinvesting my profit into my business, and since most of my bills are prepaid, I didn't need the extra money. My family support went out of my business account.

I had a turnover of 308M, and 12M balance in my corporate account. I submitted a screenshot of my Trustwallet balance showing my crypto holding. My personal account had #5k. I submitted a four year business account statement to give them a full picture of my finances, and one year for my personal account. I added my revolut account too, I had £1k there.

My Budget was £3500.00

I didn't book any hotel for the application, I stated I'll make plans when I get a decision for the application. My itinerary is NG-USA-CANADA-UK-NG.

I had three prior refusals, I was refused the fourth time(I challenged this and got it overturned). That Visa changed everything for me. Since my last application, I have gotten Schengen, US, Canada visas. If you feel your visa refusal makes no sense, you should challenge it rather than applying again which could lead to another refusal.

Thanks to all the contributors here.

I tracked my application yesterday, and it's showing that the application has been transferred to the VAC. I haven't received an email from UKVI yet. Does this mean a decision has been made?

Yes. Congratulations

TLS wants me to come for passport pick up with iD, but the only ID I have now is the passport I'm picking up and a USA driver's license. My work ID is currently being reissued.

What do you think I should do?

Good day every one, please I am planning on visiting uk on tourist but the issue I am having is that the company I work for don't pay our salary direct they pay it to another organization to credit our account and the name of the organization appears on my statement of account instead of the company name I work for.The question is how can I show it or explain to the visa officer that is the company I work for paying the salary not the organization? ,pls I need your help and my salary is 999970 I hope it's enough for 8 days tourist with closing balance of 6.8m?

Your being physically there is an id check grin

Remember that passport biodata copy you made for 450 naira? Lol that's what dey will look at to confirm if it's yours or not.

The last time I went there to pick it up, the id wasn't even asked.

Why is Enugu Visa centre premium? One has to pay more than 350k for the premium service. Why is that?

Probably because enugu dosent have enough traction of people compared to lagos or abuja. The only viable way for them to run business there would be too make the services premium to cover over heads, and make some profit

Enugu Visa centre is premium location and they charge NGN 246,250.00

So did you pay more than NGN 246,250.00?
