kristien4: No . Three different inverters. Note the packs are a mix of 24 and 48v and could not have been on a single inverter 1 Like |

Absolutely not in a single place. Three inverters in three different buildings. sharks776: |

Between an ipower 5kva hyrid inverter... 4000w pv And Powmr 6.2kva hybrid inverter...6500w pv which is better. Is Powmr a good product? |

S007: Based on specifications, what you experienced is normal.. it can output 6500w maximum. 13A x 500V on each tracker. Is 6500w That's 120A charging at 48V norminal which is the maximum it can charge. But don't expect it to output 6500 on both trackers to give 13kw.. it will simply throttle them to 3250w each and output 6500w. That's why it's written maximum full Load 250V per tracker. So if you have like 13kw. The trackers will work at 250V /13A + 250V/13A which is 6500w Just like Epever allows you to use 2 tracker as 1, or allow them to operate as independent 2 tracker, output is still limited to maximum output. 2 Likes |

ibietela2: You are on the right path. Buy inverter first, then Panels and Batteries last. Experts on this thread have a unique way of answering questions, which seems odd to me. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by jonescosmos(m): 8:04am On May 06 |
ibietela2: Buy them in this order: Inverter>Battery>Panels. Reason: Inverter has a long shelf life, Batteries has a short shelf life, Keep them too long, they would sulphate or discharge beyond DOD, Panels will be exposed to breakage and other risks when you stock them. Secondly, you can start using your Inverter & Battery when you grab the batteries and add Panels later. Third is that the price fluctuations affects Inverters and Batteries more than Panels. I hope this helps 3 Likes 1 Share |

jonescosmos: Depends on type of batteries Lithium generally has nothing to do with sulphation. |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by jonescosmos(m): 11:51am On May 06 |
dollarnaira: Please do not store your Lithium Batteries for too long without trickle charging them from at max 3 months interval. They might gradually deplete beyond DOD and you might need to jump start them and there are also chances that some of the cell might not operate as normal as should be after that. Lithium Cell Warrantee does not cover this scenario. PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY 1 Like |

jonescosmos: Hello Chief. I'm curious. If batteries have short shelf life, how do manufacturers and sellers store them in their stock before sale which may take months? 3 Likes |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by jonescosmos(m): 12:39pm On May 06 |
TCD: Usually they would factor in some months from Production to Shipping. This might take out 6 - 8 months shelf life for Flooded Batteries, 5-7 Months for Gel Batteries, 10-14 months for Lithium Batteries. So resellers have average Max of 6 Months or less to sell the battery. This accounts to why they don't recommend you store them further than necessary. 2 Likes |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira: 2:20pm On May 06 |
TCD: Most of us store batteries above norminal voltage which is the beginning of degradation. Store batteries at norminal voltage for a period of time and charge once in 60 days. Lithium ion can stay longer than LifePO4 but LifePO4 has lifespan of roughly 10yrs while lithium ion is less than 4 or 5 both at 80%. |

Good day all, Please did PowMr have office or repair center in Lagos? |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 5:20pm On May 06 |
abbeymighty: I'd be surprised if Powmr has repair centers anywhere in the world, since what they are really do is rebadge hardware from SRNE. |

They are both facing the opposite sides of the building (front and back). In the morning the Jinkos gets better sun light as compared to the Longis but the Longi measures up at the peak of the sun (between 12 and 3pm). Peterlove11: |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Ferdiwar: 7:01pm On May 06 |
At NOTC they won't produce up to 11A. However, the inverter can only draw what it needs (current) from the panels as long as you maintain the set max voltage. mctfopt: |
