Dollar Is Gradually Creeping Back To N1500 & Everyone Is Fine? by Validated: 8:50am On May 06 |
Why is noone asking the CBN governor what is responsible for the recent depreciation of the local currency, the Naira? Has the CBN lost steam in her effort at "stabilizing" the Naira? Why is everyone silent on the recent depreciation? Are we fine with the current state of our economy? Earlier in April, the Naira was appreciating daily that it almost braced the N1000/$ mark. At that time, some of us argued that the CBN may have returned to the era of defending the Naira. Not only did APC and Tinubu apologiists deny it, they called us names. Now that the whirlwind of depreciation has returned, coukd someone tell us what changed, except that the depletion of our external reserves became significantly noticeable. Please, for all those that argued that the CBN was not defending the Naira, kindly help us ask Mr. Cardoso, what has changed that we are back to where we were before? 3 Likes |

As for those fools who called us enemies of Nigeria for not celebrating some artificial appreciation of naira 2 weeks ago, I wonder what will be going through their minds now.... 6 Likes |

Validated: Were you not told to keep your dollars intact? Were you listening to Reno o monkey the sycophant whom was praising the artificial naira appreciation? Were you not told that Nigeria has to move from consumption to production if naira has to gain strength against the dollar? Bro, just move on. It's a case of the more you look the less you see. 5 Likes |

You people keep on shouting that naira was defended by Nigeria government making use of our reserves, abeg seh na you be the accountant wey approved the said funds? What happened to the debt serviced? What happened to the increase in state allocation? What happened with all the projects this government have been embarking on? Where did the government get money from to take care of all that? 1 Like 1 Share |

helinues: In essence, you are saying that "we lack stability" in the economy under your lord and saviour, Tinubu? With the rate of upwards today, low tomorrow, would it not be better that Tinubu remove the clowns in his "kparapò economic team" and employ technocrats to manage our scarce resources? 2 Likes |

Validated: Some of you lack basic understanding of economy. Emefiele and his crooks lied severally to Nigeria about the current economy situation of the country, now that the government has been trying to put things in order, which is a year in government, you people are expecting overnight miracle. helinues: Please! Please and please!!! STOP🛑 You spent 8 solid years online praising Buhari and Emefiele here on NL. In those years of famine, you called GEJ failure and told the world that Buhari was the best thing after bread and beans. You picked out Sambo Dasuki that ate your yams. Claiming that GEJ did not save because of stealing not being corruption. You claimed that Dasuki stole all the money, hence $1 rose from N260 to N500 back in 2016. I bet you have forgotten. Now the Buhari that you praised and defended has gone, with his EFCC wasting years pursuing Dasuki with nothing to show. Tinubu, another side of the same coin called Buhari-Tinubu has come to restart the same deceit. To perfect it, you picked Emefiele. You adopt the same pattern and riding on the same circus with Emefiele, just as you did with Dasuki. If some of you who are just paid laptop defenders of APC have lost the use of your brains do not take the rest of us as fools also. Keep your self-delusion to yourselves. . 4 Likes |
