Thomas Fuller, known as the "Black Mental Calculator," was a remarkable mathematician born into slavery in 1710. Despite facing immense adversity, Fuller displayed extraordinary mathematical abilities from a young age. He could perform complex calculations mentally, including multiplication, division, and even solving mathematical puzzles. Fuller's incredible talent gained him recognition from far and near. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8_uaUuGA9g 1 Like |

Some of the inventions credited to white men especially Englishmen were actually black African inventions. These men some their slaves ideas and cemented their own names in history. I read somewhere that the popular Christian song Amazing Grace is an African melody picked up by John Newton while he worked in a transatlantic slave ship. Till now Amazing Grace is described as Lyrics by John Newton, melody unknown they couldn't even give the poor African credit for the melody of their own song |
