Please I have an inverter I'm looking to upgrade. I really don't know to explain this, but I have added pictures for clearer information..

There's 8 Panels ( 5 Panels of 300watts -3 Panels of 150watts)
4 Turbular Batteries.

I want to upgrade to like 7.5kva. I have a 3 bedrooms bungalow. And 2 ACs of 1hp and 1.5Hp.

Please, I'll appreciate your advice.

Sure it works excellently but not sure it is compatible with all products from other OEMs.

You can monitor and control the inverter remotely with it.

One draw back is that the monitoring page takes a few minutes to update so its not real time. But the command control is immediately.

The attached picture is a typical day. After battery was 100% the PVs stopped harvesting and dumped the excess into a Lagos lagoon

The second is the web view of my operation today. Grid breaker has been off since yesterday morning that is why battery drained to about 29% and is chargig it back up.

What model of felicity inverter are you using?

Do you know if it works with the IVPS series?

No it is not universal if that's what you asked.
Every Vendor has a Unique Module ID on this device that must be recognized by the Communication and Data Board inside the Inverter.
If not, the device will simply get powered up but will not communicate nor give you any data reading from the inverter.

Oh yes, The Module for Felicity works for all Felicity Inverters equipped with RS232 Port.
There is a 4G Model that works with RS485 Port also

200w is a 24V panels, with voltage between 31.5v to 36v. The best way to charge battery with pwm charge controller is to keep the panel voltage battery voltage to avoid power losses hence 80w-180w panels are recommended for a 12v system. But if the charge controller is mppt you are good to go.

No, I think Must and Felicity use other designs. Possibly Axpert. Not sure.

But Powmr, Easun, EG4, MPP look to use SRNE designs.

SRNE essentially was an ODM till a few years ago. They just made hardware and sold to other companies who then badged and branded them. It's not too long ago they started selling their own models with the SRNE badge. It's documented on forums like diysolar.

Full upgrade means new hardware, your old hardware needs to give way!

What type of ACs are these?
A 6KW Growatt Hybrid Inverter can replace 7.5kVA with an Inbuilt 8KW MPPT.
Batteries must be LFP at least 15KWH, with Solar Panels at 5KW minimum.

I dropped off the battery with the guy the Jos guy sent me his number this morning at VGC and he said he will check the battery and let me know what needs to be fixed in it before the end of the day.
I will post more updates later

Still haven’t gotten a valuable response from the Jos guy. Since I dropped off the battery at vgc, I’m still waiting for him to let me know what needs to be fixed. I called him yesterday morning, he said I should allow him call the guy I dropped off the battery with and he would call me back but he is yet to call back since yesterday morning. I even messaged him in the evening as well but no response as usual.

You are right o....I tried to subscribe last week, only to discovered they've stopped the 20k unlimited subscription. Well, Na dem get customer to lose. My target is Mtn fibre, anytime they have a presence in my area, am jumping boat.

Using iron is at users discretion o.
I only use it especially during the weekends when sunlight is up up,the iron is the old Philips and not beyond 900w, still it isn't advisable.

The smarten 2.5kva has been in use for 11months now,no stories and no,it is not a hybrid.
I can't assure you of it's durability since it's just a basic inverter,but so far it has been good.

I use jinko panels from fouani and I get excellent yields from them,I've gotten close to 98% yield.

I use powmr 60A mppt charger.

And yes I use 2hrs on my fridge at night also.
11am - 4pm during the day.
1am - 3am at night with just the standing fan.

The idea behind this is to have atleast 45% of battery at sunrise.

I have 2*475w jinko panels.

For your batteries' sake,only use your microwave if there is no other option and it must be during the day when the sun is up up.

I've cut down on my 1am-3am Fridge usage.
Fridge and other heavy appliances (iron of 900w) I use during the day.
