Honorable minister, the president recently allegedly approved the appointments of healthcare professionals as FELLOWS to work at primary healthcare levels to drive and monitor federal government's interventions towards building a robust primary healthcare, but up till this moment, we haven't heard any other thing from government pertaining to that wonderful initiative. What is really happening ![]() Kudos to Tinubu's administration as it appears determined to revamp the nation's health sector! We're keenly watching! |

Mrexcell: DOCTORS GO TO THE LEADERS. You rarely ever see a president of a country visiting a hospital in their country. Mostly for security reasons. The medical personnel will 9 times out of 10 VISIT the leader in the state house with their medical equipment. |

Mrexcell: Of course doctors were visiting him in the villa. But he also had his main GP who was in the UK. He's probably had the same doctor for years. even before he was president! The main reason Nigerian leaders tend to go abroad for treatment is SECURITY, not that there is no place in Nigeria that can treat them. They fear that political enemies might infiltrate a hospital staff member who might poison them etc etc.. 1 Like |
