I understand you, now I need you to understand this, then the below advice follows

Each time we pass a challenge with prop firm, what we are doing is doubling (making 100%) the capital which naturally makes us aggressive traders. Meaning, if you buy a $10K prop account, $1K is the actual risk appetite, and they want us to double it ($1K profit, 100%). In fact, $500 daily DD is the imminent and closest to hit risk appetite and this is the actual failure traders experience. Compare having a $500 risk capital to targeting $1K profits in order to win phase 1. That's making 150% of your risk capital.

They understand that if after you are unable to make 100% after 5 tries, you may luckily win 100% on the 6th try but then, they await you on the phase 2 of the 6th try cos they understand that you still have to be aggressive to make the phase 2 $500 target, i.e. 50% if $1K overall DD is considered or 100% for a $500 daily DD consideration. This keeps you going in cycle with them and other props. This is model that make them their money.

In the real and professional world, a sustainable forex trading is making 2% to 5% monthly profits and about 12% to 30% yearly. But prop firms twist it all by asking us to make 100% profit on phase 1 when loss is by an overall DD, 150% profit when loss is by a daily DD and 50% profit on phase 2, 100% profit when loss is by daily DD.

Prior to the advent of prop firm, I would never advise anyone to borrow capital to trade; but now, I would advise that you could borrow $500; target only 10%, withdraw the capital and profit, return the capital to where it was borrowed from. Use the profit to buy two prop challenges.

10% profit target on personal account is better than what prop firm requires from us.

There is no need insulting the guy. You could scroll and pass like everyone else and besides he has posted about his strategy over and over all. With regards to posting his trade calls, he stated he is a scalper and as such has limited time to take trade and post here.

I concur. The verbal attack is rather aggressive. However, from Zedegit's point of view selecting and posting only very rare winning trades from a mountain of trades lost is the precursor to deceitfully luring newbies or others to woefully investing with him or seeking his rickety and jalopy trading services that have fallen apart irredeemably to the detriment of his potential investors. They won't immediately reveal their intentions. Many times, they know that all they have to do to attract a willing investor is to post "winning" trades. Zedegit knows their format as do we all. I would just tell traders thinking to invest with him to beware. Caveat Emptor. In this case, investors beware.

Let's see if this gets filled and head to predicted direction. 1:2rr as usual.

Just to clarify my above statement so as not to be torn to shreds by misinterpretation. The person in question may not be a shady person in truth, and I am not implying he is. What I said only describes the format of those who have been known to use this very same approach to select their prey.

Trading especially the Forex industry is full of scammy people. Most of them make their money through Mentorships or selling of Signals. For me, I just dey my own lane dey push am small small, and I don't compete with anybody because we always forget that trading is a personal journey.

I know money will come once the art of trading is mastered, so I'm never bothered to make money at my learning stage.

August will make it a year I joined, hopefully I will have bought and pass my second prop account by then. Fundednext. I chose those pairs solely because of lower spreads. Other pairs have crazy spreads. These are the 6currency pairs I trade with them: EurGbp, EurUsd, UsdCad, AudUsd, NzdUsd and GbpUsd. I will soon remove EurGbp sef. It moves too slowly for its spread.

200 pips isn't scalping. So nothing stops u from droppin chart the moment u place the trade. Wonder why none has called u 2 order.

Your upbringing goes a long way to determine if trading will be easy or hard for you.

If u have goals of making your kids 2 be a trader, consciously start training them and equipping them with the necessary personal skills required

July will make it a year I started learning how to trade. I followed the same route as you(no signal group) had to learn everything on my own which takes time of course and very painful too
About Forex being easy: I will say that everybody learning process is different(some are slow learners while some are very fast via actually grabbing the logic of trading). The funny thing is, the strategy that I am using now is what I learned from BABYPIPS which I ignored earlier on due to the fact that I was looking for the HOLY GRAIL.

Here are the fundamentals of the tips.

1. Come to the market everyday with a clean slate.. No bias.

2. As a day trader, u really do not have any business with higher time frames.. 15 mins and below is your best bet.

3. I only trade London session and NY session.

No 1 & 2 I got from him, no 3 is my own personal strategy.
