If this was CHINA, instead of MEN seeing the trains with faded paint and ''LAUGHING AT CHINA'', they would be thinking ''Wow, let's get to their rail office and offer to paint that train for x amount''.

From there they've started a business.

Keep being stupid.

This comment sound stupid to me.

Atall atall na bad market, now our brothers can board train from aba to port harcourt then find way to calabar before taking to coastal highway to yondon.

Yes conquistador.

Crude oyel proceeds from the Niger delta region straight and fastest to Lagos through the Coastal Road. Una de dream bad dreams about one Nigeria.

Unless this is for test-running. I see no reason how this piece of scrap can pass train track worthiness. VIO needs to check it.
I think TIO should rather check.

It's like they gathered old coaches here and there and joined together. Wondering why they couldn't refurbish and repaint them before use. At least the engine is working. The Lagos-Ibadan coaches advertise Indomie and are so painted. Another organisation can do the same for the Aba-PH coaches. NRC MD should put on his thinking cap.

Damn I underestimated the extent of your foolishness. So Chinese officials will see a train in this state and rather than paint it, they prefer to wait for men to apply for contract to paint the train. God where do all these low iq people fall out from

our people should appreciate it

small small we'll get there

There's always room for upgrade

let's start somewhere

they don't know how much goods can be transported using trains if Portharcourt sea port start working
No doubt!

But the point is that we have the financial power to secure a befitting train.
If you check, you will see that the contractors of this project would have siphoned so much money, all in delivering this train system to work. This is our anger!

Anybody who condone injustice will never see better in his life.
Am not Igbo, but check out Kaduna -Abuja train and rail lines then check out Ibadan - Lagos train and rail lines compare it with Aba- Port Harcourt then wonder why Nigeria is so backwards in all ramifications.

I trust the Igbo's they will still make the most out of this injustice compared with those that think they're living in El-dorado.
No empire ever lasted forever.
Where are the Greeks,Romans & Persians etc.

Dpharisee:

That's in China, by the time you see the budget of Nigeria Railway Corporation to paint those colonial era locomotives which they will award to their cronies it will be more than the cost of buying new coaches and you will come back here to scream wink

GARBAGE.

TYPICAL EXCUSE FROM A LAZY MIND.

YOU NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU TRY.

AND YOU DON’T TRY BY β€œLAUGHING” LIKE A BUNCH OF LOW IQ CRETINS.

Are you talking of calabar or Uyo?
Most people use bikes from Ikot Ekpene(Akwa Ibom) to Aba... It's that close. Uyo to Ikot Ekpene is like 30mins.... Calabar to Uyo is like 3/4 hrs maybe more because if the bad calabar-itu road... Used to be like an hour... PH to Aba is supposed to be less than an hour.... I used to do PH(Eleme junction) to Umuahia in one hour 2013/2014 and you'd have pass through Aba. I don't how long it would take now. You're the one who seems to be the novice here.
you are fucking right sir...

This type of world war 2 era trains the Germans used to move equipment, soldiers and slaves around Europe, is that what the federal govt of Nigeria is delivering to it's people in 21st century?

When countries are already on bullet trains, Nigeria borrowed billions of dollars to deliver this antiquities

APC is still playing biafra war politics that's why they gave igbos such abandoned locomotives.
