People, I made a silly mistake and I don’t know how to correct it. Abuja was at capacity so I decided to change my service area to madalla and they have shipped but I haven’t received yet. However going through the thread, I have seen that my dish won’t work in abuja. Please what can be done in this case? I’m trying to see if I can change to roam instead of residential but it’s not letting me. Pls I need una help o. Thank you 1 Like |

Leemekzy: They said they are occupied with orders, these guys labelled that item EXPRESS SHIPPING, collect 1k5 and are sending it as FREE SHIPPING. Something I ordered from Abuja has arrived PH, but Lagos own its still in transit My pray is, its better be a new, functional item 2 Likes |

Please guy I recently purchased starlink internet I need the best backup battery for it Mind you I have a solar system, which I did for about 3million, 4 genus carbon tubular battery 230ah Felicity 3.5k inverter and 60A Felicity controller But I don't want to be turning on my solar all the time, I gave internet access to 2 neighbors and they will be pay for it 12k each month, So I need a backup battery for the starlink, a backup battery that can last upto 3 or 4 hours just powering only the starlink, just incase I turn off my main solar system 5 Likes 1 Share |

Koko254: To those that know about solar and inverters an stuff, is felicity a good brand? I ask because their 15kwh battery is going for like N2.96mln. Meanwhile other brands have even their 5kwh or 7kwh battery at that same price or even slightly higher. So wondering how Felicity battery is that cheap. Or is it that the battery inside doesn't really provide 15kwh? 1 Like 1 Share |

So I have been having this GPS signal acquisition error for weeks. It makes booting time incredibly slow; as high as 20mins+. But once booted, all is good. My starlink reboot every 4AM thereabout (maintenance) and if I am awake during that time, it could take as high as 20mins to go online. So I just sent a screenshot of the error to Starlink and within 10 seconds, yes 10 seconds, a new kit was dispatched. I can return the old kit after receiving the new one within 30 days else my card will be charged for it. I just have to drop it with the DHL guys that comes to deliver the new kit. Can any local ISP ever do this for it's clients? 1 Like

COMPAQ: The straight answer is the battery capacity is overrated. Expect 80% true capacity. Some have claimed they employ fairly-used cells; others have seen brand new cells in their setup. Do I recommend? For the price point yea. If you budget allows for it, then go for premium ones e.g. Pylontech. 1 Like |

Koko254: If you have a "solar" system, then you should have power at all times. I presume you don't have solar panels, yea? |

panalyst: Give it a trial! At your own risk as I will not be held liable if it doesn't work. |

QuoteJust1nce:Recently had the same issue where the dishy was taken as long as 20 to 25mins to successfully connect to a satellite. Starlink sent a replacement kit for free, and I have, in turn, dropped the old kit with DHL. Considering that I have had that kit since February last year, it's amazing the support I still enjoy from Starlink. No ISP in this country would support a customer like that. Note that Starlink has had to replace my router for free twice previously as result of power surge, technical issues. 2 Likes |

Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by Sulejamade: 4:30pm On May 10 |
Sulejamade: Finally got it working. Another question: during signup I was forced to roam plan of 49000. I already paid for it, and signed up. But now in the app dashboard, I see option to switch to residential for 38000. But when I tried to click, it says it "Service will change and you will start getting billed NGN38,000.00 for your new service on 11 May 2024, " which is tomorrow, if I proceed. Hope I can go ahead, and my already subscribed roam will still work till the end of month, before switch? Asking to be sure, make I no go press spoil button, make they no con charge me twice |
